the main faction lore is pretty cringy- “swats” -so im gonna make this longa$$ article with new faction lore:

The Streamlined Crime Countermeasure Service (SCCS) is a private task force officially recognized and staffed by the federal government. The SCCS was cofunded primarily to counter the black market leader codename “Chains”, but out of the camera of the MBT story they also sometimes serve as special police teams.
The SCCS is divided mainly into 4 company-sized combat units (disregarding non-division intelligence officers) with each of their operational leaders being founders of the group, including:
    1st Assault Group- “Angels”
    2nd Assault Group- “Bullets”
    3rd Tactical Espionage Group- “Travelers”
    4th Assault Group- “Helljumpers”
The Travelers are different from the 3 other units, being more of a para-intelligence team.
The SCCS is directly associated with the Emerald Militia, a similar Irish-based private armed group. Despite differences in location, they nevertheless pat each others on the backs.
The SCCS’s operations are well-controlled by the US government, being that they constantly supervise SCCS operators as they are still a private group. Operators are strictly assigned to fixed and planned operations and casualties are steadily replaced by a selected group of government reserves- and sometimes the government uses this constantly-growing group of fit reserves to expand the ranks of the SCCS. Even if the SCCS is strictly supervised and disciplined by the US government, it’s baseplate command is still very personally bonded, remaining mostly-made up of long-time operators that were all friends at the start.
SCCS operators are allowed by the government to use their own personal equipment rather than standard-issue equipment with a still-existing small dress code. This code applies that personal equipment must be at least similar to a standard uniform base and all equipment must be registered and permitted.

    • This seems very good, and the truth is that it helps a lot, but now I want you to try to combine this with what I established, since in your version it says that they are assault groups for planned operations, this is something that does not fit very well since SWATs can be called in an unexpected situation such as a terrorist attack or a group of insurgents with heavy weapons for example, in my series the “squads” or “assault groups” will be battling against many gangs, and mafias , these last ones will have agreements of bribery with some police stations in the zone, reason why civil bodies are needed that they can investigate more in depth without attracting the attention, and thus to be able to plan an attack to end all that conspiracy, some members of Travelers will be carrying out these operations according to what you say, but I still feel that there is something that does not fit.

Maybe it has to do with the names you give them, I need something simpler so that the spectators can become familiar with more easily.

        • Replying to: TheGamerXMaybe it has to do with the names you give them, I need some

maybe add the “planned operations” thing as a not-always assignment as they can be quickly deployed
and the travellers are PARA-intelligence and are still an armed assault team- they are for more “special” operations in the means of logistics, reconnaissance, and well, tactical espionage

I was referring to some of the members being able to carry out reconnaissance operations as a civilian, in order to know what is going on in the streets.
