Your in an old abandoned cabin 3 miles outside the forest full of infectants while it being the only thing separating you from total chaos
(I have literally NO knowledge on guns so)
You have a pistol with 4 bullets
A automatic gun with 3 magazines 50 bullets in each one
A flare gun with 7 flares
And a bow and 10 arrowsThe pistol and flare are on your hip the automatic on your back and the bow on you with the arrows on your back also
The only food you have are 2 cans of beans and a pack of stale ramen noodles
You have a radio but there are no broadcasts dew to almost all of population being torn down
You have a notebook and pen to either record events in or draw to keep you occupied
And you only have a bottle of water
The water beans and ramen are in a bigger than normal fanny pack on your waist
You are wearing nothing but a t shirt and jeans

In your cabin you hear noise that sounds like infectants coming towards you

I look out the window, being cautious to make sure the mystery doesn’t see me, I checked to make sure I have a full magazine, and made sure I could fire.
Even though you were sure you heard infectants you see a man running towards you with nothing but jeans on so you can see that he has nothing dangerous on him

I taunt them until they have to reload, and then pummel them with bullets
You look through each one of there inventories and you find a phone (the one they used to make the infectant sound) and a can of soda (stars and stripes fruit punch because it is the BEST)

I take nothing, as the soda may be poisoned, and the phone may have a tracker

As you go back inside you hear more infectant sounds
You think “why would they play more sounds if I’m already out”
You look around and see an actual infectant running towards you
The sound from you and their guns attracted it

Go in the cabin and out the back door to a raft in the sea
I shoot the infected down with my pistol
You shoot the infectant down but then another one comes out, then another and then a horde of infectants appear… Running towards……. You

The infectants are closing in rapidly

1) Assuming it’s an M16, those things would definitely kill most of them.
2) they are literally rotten humans with a brain (so skin and bones are weaker)
3) Why would I go onto the water if I’m clearly faster and stronger?

(1) They would but still it was for nothing since they weren’t really close to you
(2) Yeah but it’s a horde of RUNNING infectants
(3) It’s A HOOORDE horde of RUNNING infectants so even though they’re not that close, they’re to fast and to wide to go around… The only way to go is on the raft
1) If they are that far away an M16 bullet can’t reach them, then I could outrun them due to them being far away.
2) Yeah but they can’t run that fast since they are rotten.
3) They are not fast, but an M16 should gun them down
(1) Naw because the horde is to wide and you don’t have enough ammo to kill’em all and they are close just not that close

(1) yeah cause you could outrun them so it kinda was
(2) because the only way to go is to the raft or around them and you can’t run around them fast enough and its either stranded or death (and I would personally choos death by suicide cause I’m not getting eaten alive to feel all that pain)

This argument is kinda time consuming but I’m ok with it
1) so I could shoot them
2) why wouldn’t I just shoot them down? And once again, I’m faster so I could run around the line
