@ralph there has been this thing stuck on my head entire time.
When we edit movieclip. Do we have to save it as new movieclip like stickfigures? Or does it has property like proper movieclips have that I can simply overwrite them like projects?
I don’t wanna have to do entire movieclip in one go to avoid cluttering my phone.

you can see a glimpse of the prompt after clicking “edit movieclip” in one of the previews i’ve posted
it asks if you wanna edit the actual MC and have it affected in real-time across all its appearances in the project
or make a duplicate
so both are possible
this is why MCs have hidden bonus usages besides repeating looping animations
like having a single-frame BG of a “complex bg” made of multiple figures
1) it saves memory because all those nodes in that MC are only created once
2) it allows you to be on frame 500 of that project and be “I wish this BG had a platform here” and you just go into the MC and edit in a platform and it’s applied to all instances
Only created once
:OOOOOOOOOOOOOO
yes, this is something I wish everyone would utilize after 3.0.0 (but they won’t 🙂
because it will save memory massively
having 3000-node background (or something static) shove it in to an MC (even if it’s 1 figure of 384 nodes)
and use the MC, not the figure(s), across all the frames
the frames reference the 1 source movieclip (in memory)
vs the frames having to reference uniquely-created stickfigure(s) on each frame
this kinda makes sense I can’t word it right but you get what I be saying
there’s also now ways to bronk the node count and have basically unlimited nodes per frame as a side-effect of MC usage if used in a certain style
but, you’d have to really go out of your way to get this and it’s not like it’s *terribly* useful because you can’t move nodes in an MC (when animating the project that is)
this doesn’t make sense but when you get the update you’ll likely figure this bronkage out in 2.5 seconds
“bronk”
“bronkage”
aaaaand, stolen
imo, we finna break into 4D animations i mean wat, but for sure we gonna do something out of our mind one day to impress everyone
4d animations
an animation app in virtual reality headset
you can walk around your frames/models and pose them and then walk around the scene as it animates
…
damn that’s hot
mfw had been trying to come up how could i make 360 sn anim with power of editing
*sweats profusely*
something like this
Damnit, ironically it’s one of users I inspire a lot and I guess they are also now trying to break onto new limits.
I am proud.
that’s a benevolent way to look at it
I’d say more like he’s trying to overthrow you as supreme SN bronker and this is actually the beginning of his coup d’etat
*goes full meta and does 360 video using power of Photoshop to merge elements, then use sprite illuminator to create 3d effect and bakes everything on 3d plane in an editor*
