simple shapes but looks good
idk how to put into words, but making that top polygon at the tip look a bit less unfitting would be nice, incorporate it into the hook blades coming out somehow (add some more detail coming out of it into the blades)
Yeah, makes sense, but that is up to anyone who wants to make a detailed version because I am not skilled enough to do that and make it look good.

things like this i think add a bit more style to a thing like this – but really its up to your and the style you’re going for, maybe you want a more basic-ish look vs realistic-af, or something in between
added some base/holsters to the blade (aka triangles), some screws holding it in place (aka dots), and some white highlight to the edge of the blades to make them appear sharp
I’ll try this, but I already sent the figure for submission (before I made this post) so if I pull it off, could you not submit the undetailed one?

for future reference, the undetailed one is just barely borderline not acceptable-ish, but i would accept because now i know it’s from you and i’m a kind and merciful deity
again there’s nothing wrong with that if it’s your style but, it’s very rudimentary and simple and that’s one of the criteria for *not* being accepted barring other circumstances (humor, usefulness, etc)
