My opinion no one asked : The bottom one looks alot better, I shall say, if I were to use the weapon, the bottom will be used by a specialist and the upper one by regular soldiers

the lighter color seems to let you see more detail
but darker looks more foreboding and slick

Bottom. Darker colors for gun metal is always very nice. The bottom has the harmony between the reciever and the magazine too.
