FTL used to mean “for the lose” back when I had forthelose.org (this was years ago before Stick Nodes when I did web design stuff, the website was sold and now it’s gone completely).
After selling it I bought fortheloss.org and switched to gamedev stuff. I don’t really even use that site anymore though.
And the name kinda just stuck through all the games I made, up to Stick Nodes.
The game ‘Plunder Peril’ came first before Stick Nodes. I don’t know if I pieced it right but I do think Stick Nodes was inspired by Pivot.
