For a while I thought to myself how I wanted to create a wooden version of the Stick Nodes app icon and today I began exactly that.

I hand sanded and cut a piece of wood, it took me around an hour to do both, mainly sanding and I’m quite proud of what I got here.

Only downsides are the hole in it and the weird colouring of wood but I still need to sand a bit more at the back and whatever else. I will also need to find a Dremel tool to actually draw the app icon details.

This was pretty fun to do and i’m proud of the results, not greatly but it’s a start.
