@Ralph I am currently crying because I spent a DAY on a animation and Saved it MANY times, but then, when I was saving, my phone died and deleted the whole file. I hate my iPhone.

you saved it prior to the time it died while saving?
it shouldn’t delete the file until the saving is complete, where it swaps out the old file with the new, finished-saving file
aka if it’s interrupted it shouldn’t, delete the original?
i’ll have to verify this but im pretty sure that’s the functionality

I have a old messed up phone and it’s constantly deleting random crap
I mean, phones don’t just delete things
you might have an app that’s “cleaning junk files” or something, and that’s the problem
