People who’s only response to what’s happening is “Riots and looting bad” are completely missing the point.
If you actually gave a damn about riots and looting you’d look into what causes them. Ever notice how the people looting tend to be in poorer neighborhoods, while people in big cities are peacefully protesting? This isn’t a coincidence.
People are looting because of the impoverished conditions they’ve been put in due to the vicious cycle of systemic racism. If you want to stop riots from happening, you’d acknowledge this and work towards dealing with this.

yeah. in the end they’re just ruining their own towns that they go to, and for what? a stupid TV, phone, toy and etc. What message does that give?
Well for starters the towns were already poor. The message is the police needs to reform if they want their town back which has been effective. The Mayor of Minneapolis is actually already considering it https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/06/02/mayor-minneapolis-police-racism-294985 It’s also an effective way to get others to protest, and the peaceful protests have shown a light on the fascist behavior of our police departments and the United States President. I’m sure we’ve all heard of what happened at Lafayette park.
Tell me
Do you think it’s justified for riot officers to fire teargas, rubber bullets, and to beat up protesters with batons
So the president can have a photo op?
If so, congratulations
You just might be a fascist sympathizer.
i feel bad that most riot officers don’t have a choice,
imagine how many were given there order to open fire and said to themselves “im going to hell for this”
(those who dont care are the scum of the earth for all i care)
I hope you do realize a lot of rioters aren’t even from the same city. In Detroit a lot of them came from surrounding cities that are somewhat nice and wealthy.
