Most of the older users say it was much better back then.

Back then it wasn’t filled with cringe and unfunny jokes. It was actually used for what it’s meant for.
I agree.
A lot of the members who have left were still online and posting, we had a few other groups as well were a lot of users would come together and create interesting things.
The biggest difference from then and now is that we didn’t constantly see sexual remarks or lots of reposted memes. A large majority of it was done ironically or in their respective groups.
Now we see a lot more posts from ‘kids’ who just post as follows:
– Reposted memes
– Sexual remarks
– Out of context posts
That’s all I can name right now, there’s also the occasional drama although that’s a common theme throughout all ages of Stick Nodes.

You’ve been around for a while now.
Kind of similar, but a lot less toxic and cringe. Back then we were just immature fucks messing around and having fun. Now it’s the same thing except we’re more “mature” and there’s a bit more drama. But hey society evolves for a reason
Not necessarily, like esquecido said we used the site for it’s intended purpose and there were memes posted but it went into the right group and a large majority of the unfunny stuff was done ironically.
Now it feels like all the bored not so talented users have taken over and the more popular responsible users are left in small amounts.

I am not gonna pretend like I was a very old active famous member of this site, but it was kinda similar but the animations and stickfigures were better than they are now
i miss the old days tbh. It wasnt a shitty 4chan ripoff back then. Back then there was a much larger community too.
Sticknodes is kind of dying at this point in time. Oh and it wasnt a chatroom. You would see a diffrent person everyday and wouldnt see another post by them in atleast 20+ posts. nowadays its kind of…just like a small discord server…

Now that I look back, even though I do miss some of the older folks who havent made a return yet, it was a lot of cringe. Please nobody go back and find my old posts, I pushed those back into the deepest catacombs of my brain.
