Seems due to upcoming Android 11 changes, the simplicity of /Stick Nodes/ folder in the root directory of Android devices will have to change. Files will now have to be located at:
/Android/data/org.fortheloss.sticknodes/
/Android/data/org.fortheloss.sticknodespro/
Side effects of this:
1) SN and SN Pro no longer share the same folder (similar to IOS)
2) Files will be deleted upon uninstall (similar to IOS)
3) Files can *still* be accessed via a File Explorer app, they’re just located in the app’s specific directory, not the root directoryOverall it does suck
The fact SN and SN Pro shared the same folder was a nice benefit for Android users. Also the fact files persisted after uninstall.Next SN update will likely have a prompt for Android users on startup which will copy all your files from folder A and move to a new folder B

*laughs in iOS
ios does in fact win this round
cc @arcionek since this the type of stuff u like to comment on and probably make me feel bad about
sorry was watching doors 5.
I didn’t get in.
Twice.
F.
ngl i think that guy has a vendetta against sn im kinda not even kidding lmao
Btw, wtf is your name
sean and i have been changing each others names for the past 2 days
where have you been
3.1.0-3.2.0 is now real
might skip 3.1.9 for the lols
But what about other Android phones
Android is Android
Oh that’s terrible
wut if u just made sn pro an in-app purchase to sn free that previous pro users can install and then they can share the same folder
is a possible way to go, but i kinda like the 2 separate apps
helps with piracy and hacking as well
shame
Well with that fact about deleting files on ios i’ll just save my files and redownload em when i fix my ipad! FOOLPROOF PLAN! so nothing gets left behind! : D
