I have been thinking that Carter’s pop has a Mauser C96 that is used in WW1. Right before going to prison, he left the gun in a box and it has a note on them saying “Son, if you’re reading this, It means I’ve been arrested by the police. Now, as your 18th birthday, I’ll give you a special thing that I’ve owned for a few years.” Carter opened the box and found his father’s gun. There is a note saying, “My Broomhandle. I’ve got this weapon during World War I. You know, this weapons is old, but it’s still in a good shape. This fits you well, son. This weapon is slightly better with other Broomhandles out there. It has a longer barrel and it can hold 12 bullets. Well, I’m sorry if you didn’t have any birthday gift last year. I couldn’t afford much because of your mother’s health. Sadly, she died. I’m sorry if you read this.”

Anyway, gonna get this idea in some random episode because I don’t know. Yeah, Carter’s backstory is kinda off from what Reignraider said about Carter.
