Lets say im 12,000,000 light years away from you, and your looking at me from the hubble telescope.
and I’m a redshifted black hole because (this might not be how it exactly works) i have moved away from you and my wavelengths are longer.
My present day light hasn’t reached earth yet, that means that this is the light from 12,000,000 years ago.

say hypothetically I had a pole here on earth that just so happens to be 12,000,000 lightyears long
i aim it right at you, and jab

Even doe im a black hole im no expert at science.
but let me catch on something here, according to einstein, no object can travel at the speed of light or faster.
Plus light speed is the speed light travels at, not how long an object is. (i somewhat assume)
