Did the chicken really come before the egg?
the egg came first according to evolution
it was probably the egg of some extinct bird species or dinosaur
“or dinosaur”
also known as an extinct bird species
Not all dinosaurs are birds but all birds are dinosaurs
Also it was probably an egg of a species extremely similar to the Modern chicken but just technically not the modern chicken, sounds weird I know
a better question would be “what was the first chicken’s family”
because it was probably basically the same as the chicken unless there was some massive mutation
Yeah it would be basically the same but maybe with mildly (nothing drastic) new traits
