🗓️ SN – Site Log 2023 🗓️
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?
What I’ve found throughout my time here is that because a lot of Stick Nodes’ content is similar in nature it can be hard to remember each cool detail about the site that day, week, month or year. Some things are retained by memory no doubt but this just serves as a nice information bank to check back on for data purposes, nostalgia and because it can also serve as a sort of mini-news output daily ( Most of the time ).
𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀:
Contributors – These guys are the ones who make the magic happen, posting the site logs we see daily, usually we can work around a rotation so some days myself ( Lemon ) can post some log entries, then Kingstar, Teo, InfiniteGuess etc. we’ll keep everyone posted and hopefully we can retain the consistency of the entries throughout the year.
If you’d like to have a shot at contributing just ask away, we’ll dedicate a day and see how you fare, you do a good job a few times and you can score a placement under Mods for ‘ Contributor ‘.

Slightly Notable events, Sticknodes Wiki createdSince Lemon is starting to mold, I’ll be writing the site log today. Anyways like the lame title suggest, not much happened today besides some slightly notable events. Since none of them I thought were headline worthy and most of them being of equal importance, I will just reflect on them here. We had another Sticknodes story further in its development, known as Nodium created by Collision, which has been happening a lot lately. I am extremely uplifted by this news as this is an animation community after all, and having people find creative uses for the app is quite exciting. Speaking of being an animation community, a wiki by one of our members was created. This is great news as once it grows, we’ll be able to share our community on a broader scale by going to a new frontier, Wikipedia. This, if it is not forgotten, will be great in documenting events and important updates that happen with this app and website. (Sorry for all the reflective bullshit, I had to put something here djjejwwiow)

I did not want to clutter this site log any further, but I thought these deserved to be mentioned, so I bundled them together. Pretty creative Ocs have been created by Kingston and Infiniteguess, the S.W.A.T officer and Clover. These not only look visually appealing, but they have a bit of lore imbedded in them.
Final Thoughts
As usually nothing extremely notable happened today, besides the events mentioned previous. I for one, a, glad that a user had returned to us, keeping this community strong and signaling that they are most likely doing better. I am also glad that we had a little bit of Stickfigures created today, so the community is somewhat productive. A new user also started creating Stickfigures, which are quite good I may add, so that is nice. (Since we get Stickfigures like this everyday I didn’t list them in the site log, however I just felt like acknowledging them, repost due to mistake)

No site log today, my internet is struggling and loading posts etc is too time-consuming.
I’m pretty tired and have to wake up early for work tomorrow. Should get back at a good time though so I imagine I can put a site log out tomorrow like I said.

Well technically this is all sort of speculation and it could very well be any percent within the 80 – 95% range, we’re just going off he goofy messages at the top bar hoping it isn’t a big troll. It’s just nice to see the numbers get bigger I guess, hopefully seeing the numbers go high enough will be satisfaction enough to prompt Ralph to release the update.
𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝟯𝟰𝟳I don’t usually headline Stickfigure posts and similar but I thought I’d make it a thing where if a Stickfigure stands out to me and possibly others enough it is worthy of some discussion. What I like about this Stickfigure in particular is the sheer detailing of it all, the lighting and shading of the metal throughout the suit, the apparent solid layering, the textures of the hair and Armor lining etc. it all comes together beautifully and is truly top tier Stickfigure work. Must have taken a while, good job Joe.

Really glad to see the Sprite update moving along nicely, I do think though once it’s out it will pretty much change a lot of appeal for a variety of things, effects, guns, realisticks and more. That’s okay but there was always a simple pleasure in creating these hyper realistic stickfigures for the sake of it, we still can but having the option to straight up add an image takes the novelty away I think. Still going to be a good update and I look forward to it’s release, Godspeed.

The Sprite update was a pretty smart move for what could be considered the mobile SN app’s final big update before potentially SN PC. This is more of possible outcome, nothing is certified really but it’s likely we’ll get SN PC next.

Valentine’s is now at it’s end and we can go back to.. oh nevermind nothing changed. I can’t say I really see the value of these events, I sort of can but it’s more that I don’t feel inclined to care about them, could just be me though. With that being said I’d like to say a few things to the whole Valentine’s Day incentive, to all my homies and that special lady out there.
Stick Nodes is something I’ve always been apart of ( Since 2018 ) but by some luck I received a lot of love and support, this love and support that I received during 2020 onwards has been so beneficial to me, as someone who had struggled with friends and lost a sense of purpose you all helped me see a bit clearer, to learn to not hate myself and to start accepting new things, new people and I couldn’t be more grateful. Each day here come thick and thin is another part of my time here and that, I will always cherish. I love you guys.
Of course to the special lady out there, my Limela, you mean the world to me, not a day goes by where I don’t think of you and I will never stop fighting for who I love and care about and my motives. One day I’ll have clarity and whether you be mine or another’s the journey i’ve made and the world I’ve opened up to in pursuit of my own ambitions and to be with you is always something I will see as a cornerstone in my lifetime.

Hm, give it one more shot of a trial run and then I’ll make a conclusive decision.
My words of advice would be to:
1. Check for errors
2. Format your post cleanly, don’t add – but instead use the code thing properly
3. When there is topics of discussion like update news, site news then headline and document it but if it’s drama, random posts etc avoid it more.
4. Try and do what you think is best, don’t worry too much.
5. Always include valid links and images.This is a final parting message thing to help you should you ever need it. I feel like you’re familiar with this by now anyway but it’s just a final precaution before your last trial run.

I’ll write the entire thing in the notes app first and check for factual errors and to have it backed up, paste it into Sticknodes, check for formatting errors, post it in a private group to catch any other errors in formatting, fix them, and than post it on the official group.
This should eliminate all possible kinds of errors and take less time than constantly editing the post until I can’t anymore.

If that’s what you feel it takes to get the job done then I have no objections but if you want some help with directions I’ll describe my process for making the entries in hopes it can help you maybe.
1. I open and check through activity all the way down until I reach the ‘ A day ago ‘ mark on the posts date or just the last log entry of the previous day.
2. During checking through activity I pull apart reoccurring details or details that strike me. Big posts such as news posts, really high quality Stickfigure posts or generally just something cool. The bigger and bolder something is the more notoriety it has to become the headline, two or three headlines is okay to do also, anymore than that is too much though.
3. I open up https://lingojam.com/FontChanger to give me that cool font I usually use – 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲. From there I put the date, for example: 13th February 2023 – Monday, below I’d then put the headline but use code to make it stand out more. I’d write all of this in my notes app to prevent any potential network problems or accidental site reloads to corrupt and delete the post.
4. Once I’ve written the date, headline and details of what the headline and a bit of the day is about I’ll start working on the next headline or if there is none the links.
5. I click the little date in the dotted box at the top right off post to get it’s URL. I copy it, put down some bold text in similar fashion to the code thing and give the linked post a funny or on-the-mark name / title.
6. Once all posts are linked I do the code again but with a space so it’s just a clean line separating the links and of course the final words of the day etc. from there I obviously put my final thoughts of the day and the current written log entry roughly.
7. Once done I say bye or whatever then copy it all, go to the group and the images I’ve saved as I’ve gone along activity throughout writing it and I just post it all nice and simple, done and dusted.
You’ll get it, I doubt I’ll have reason enough to neglect your efforts and cut you off from being a contributor.
