The War For The Wasteland
"After a turn of events that nobody was expecting, the world was never the same again..."
The War for The Wasteland is an upcoming series written and animated by Phantom, Arda and Helmet set on an alternate universe where the Cold War was extended with an ultra-nationalist organisation taking over the government of the USA and the USSR, launching nukes to rebuild their nations from the ashes. The series will focus on the state of life in the post-apocalyptic nations, as well as the struggle against the organisation that had caused it all, factions in the wasteland(s) along others.
All figures are created by Phantom and Helmet. If you’d like to help us in animation, writing or anything else, please let me (Arda) know.

Small announcement, Phantom and I will be posting stuff on eachother’s behalf from now on, for example when I’m not available posting lore related stuff will be up to Phantom, and when he’s not available I will be posting new fig updates, even if we’re mainly gonna focus on different things (most likely going to be me posting more lore related stuff).
I will also be making propaganda posters because, well, why not. -

A bit of other details about the remade stickfigures that Arda has not showed yet. The pouches and equipment on the new NAR soldiers are working (except the mag pouches) and modular for more realism. Also included is a collapsible shovel and its holster, issued to US infantry in 1991. (Beretta M9 by Mantoshka)

Alright, so I\’m kinda lost on whether I should focus on lore or figures more.
On one hand, my lazy ass still hasnt managed to make a detailed post about the figures.
On the other, there\’s a lot of interesting aspects of the lore that is currently uncovered.

When you’re fighting against an oppressive government with a heavy focus on militarism, you’re gonna use whatever you can – whether you’re doing it on 1941 or 1998. Besides, it might be old, but 8 rounds of .30-06 will never be obsolete.

The figures are made by Phantom – I already clarified this on earlier posts, I have full permission from him to post it.
The regular NAR soldiers and the snipers (they have a little bit of extra things that need to be done but are mostly over) are done.

Aside from the fact that its an improvement on a remake that you guys didn’t even see in the first place (because of my inactivity), the regular ones recieved a lot of cool stuff and some improvements.
