Genre: Jazz fusion with funk influence
Personal rating:9.5/10
Personal thoughts: sometimes you CAN judge a book by its cover because this album sounds exactly like that. found this on my YouTube recommended one day and it goes out, japanese jazz fusion as peak as usual. listen to it, you wont regret it

Catalina Bathory, Grand Inquisitioner
made a vampire character out of boredom, originally she was just going to be the stereotypical evil vampire noblewoman but i decided to make her design very loosely like that of an early 19th century general because i couldnt really make it more and because i think it’s just a more interesting design in general. was going to double model with this one aswell but it’s already a really busy design so i decided not to, i guess it could’ve been better but i still like the result. also she sees through the cloth over her eyes by evil vampire magic or something i dunno i just thought it was a cool design cue -
#9, Edelweiss
it’s 12 am and I have 30 pages of unfinished history homework and i dont really like the formatting of these posts anymore anyway (feels overly formal and like it’s a fuckin museum exhibition or something lmao it aint all that) but i wanna post this gal here cause i spent a lot of time working on her. like, a lot of time. uh she doesnt really have any lore yet i just made her because I barely make female characters and characters that actually have their face visible (90% of them have a helmet or mask blocking it) and wanted to practice. also wanted to practice making double minis (i explained the technique in one of the earlier posts here if you dont know) again, which i used for the coif, chainmail skirt and the hair. posing is kind of ass though unfortunately -
An Album Whenever I Feel Like Posting One, Album 7: My War by Black Flag
Genres: Hardcore punk, sludge metal (for the latter half/the B side)
Personal rating: 9/10
Personal thoughts: One hell of a listening experience. Definitely not for everyone and it probably will seem jarring as fuck to you if you’ve never listened to hardcore or sludge before. Still, very interesting album. Henry Rollins’ vocals on are genuinely horrifying and very unique. Guitar work and drums are also really good. The lyrics are also very interesting, all of them are from the perspective of an insane guy basically. Henry’s vocals make them work though. The B Side of this album is especially intense, with long songs that are even more distressing than the rest of the album, combining doom metal’s slow tempos and heaviness with punk’s abrasiveness. It’s also the groundwork for what would later become sludge metal.
Overall, an amazing album with a harrowing atmosphere that may be hard to get into. Will review this in depth someday.
