Welcome, I’ll do random things here, updates, series, remakes, etc. Not much to say, it’s pretty simple.

Xero has a hand cannon, problem is I can’t decide on a look for it.
Which one should I use for reference? The main difference will be that Xero’s matches his colors; purple-tinted metal, purple glow, etc

@infiniteguess rate this boot
It can compress the air under it, allowing the wearer to glide-skate across the air. The higher up they go the less efficient those purple air compressors will be, because of how air changes with altitude.
So like shadow the hedgehog’s boots on steroids

It’s much more, but I don’t think you emphasized how bright the fire actually is unless if the alien’s skin just doesn’t have as much specular.
You could also add shadows between the wood on the campfire as well as some additional shadows under the alien’s arms and in the areas where the light isn’t present.
Same thing could be done with the hills in the background.
The distant mountains should blend into the skys color a bit more, unless if its an extremely bright light source somewhere. If there is then emphasize that more. You could also add a shadow behind it if its the comet’s light.

Also, @beginninganimator
Using this picture, or even the previous ones, any lighting advice?

Everything seems to emit light, but not enough of it. The fire seems somewhat out of perspective and instead of casting light directly onto the alien its acting as if it’s on the other side in which it does not look like so. It also should be emitting more light on the wood and a bit on the ground (if you wanna go as far as detail with that) the comet could also use a bit more emission. Add some of its light on the hill and a bit on the alien.
After all that, It’d be enjoyable.

PhennoEvery Grodotian dreams of the day they can be accepted into the Shadow Hero Alliance, or SHA. It’s a grueling process to be selected, but if you make it you can join Grodot’s finest warriors, professional heros that set off to other planets—and their own—to combat against the universe’s biggest foes.
These warriors are called Shadows, and every good Shadow deserves a Phenno (Feh-no). These blubber-like creatures can stretch, squish, and slither around like a spherical snake. Because of their stretchy qualities, they are next to impossible to kill, not to mention regrowing limbs.
Phenno have a stomach that can be characterized as its own dimension, the space inside it is just that big. Obviously, you can’t tell just from looking at it. This is weird, as they only require water, no food. The water sits in a separate organ in their body, and so the stomach is rendered useless.
Shadows, however, have found good use for this vestigial stomach. These Phenno can be used as infinite
guessstorage, like a backpack but inserting the hand into the mouth to grab things. Do not worry, the Phenno love this, aren’t harmed, and readily consume anything to keep it in their ‘stomach’. They commonly travel with their Shadows like a backpack, hanging by the shoulders.Phenno can also change their structure, although it’s not really shapeshifting because…well you can still tell they are Phenno. Each type of Phenno can shift into one creature, and purple ones can shift into a wolf-like creature commonly found in Grodotian forests. In these forms, they pick up the qualities of said creature until they return into their usual globby forms.
