the charm of sn and stickfigures for me is simplicity, so realistic stks doesnt make much sense to me aside from amazing skill
if you meant mixing trhe 2, i mean the colors and designs (like armor) of the new stks mixed with the old base, like for example this character, the purple and stuff of the new design with the old base and also the new mask cause the old one sucks
but idk, just my opinion

SN is an art medium. It’s no different in that respect to oil paintings or digital works. Those mediums may have a specific feel to them, but by no means are they (or should they) be limited to them, and SN should be the same. And then building up to starting on part 1 , which takes place with them as kids still
Reason I’m making this versions first is cause they’re easier to show off , “drum up hype” for the overall series , and also I just want to practice future characters , items , figures , etc , so it’ll be easier as I progress through making the series
