Exiled is a series of animations I’ve been working on, which follows Lucky, a void-cursed Valkyrian.
Plot summary being rewritten, check back soon.
Here I post updates on the story, short test animations, figures, lore dumps, etc.
Episodes:
Currently going through an overhaul. I would prefer to start on stuff that’s more fun for now, and not exactly canon.

I said ‘more’ twice, I can no longer English.

Definitely will post more about it lol, had a breakthrough in how to make it enjoyable to create again. Requires the restructuring of the main plot; for starters, the main cast is no longer a band of mistaken outlaws hunted by an empire. I’ll elaborate more obviously, but also make more lore bits. I like those.

Nice, little sweet bits of lore with some other stuff thrown in would help be more digestible and might have more incentive to follow.
At least until bigger projects are made and you establish some story there, I would imagine those digestible lore bits with some art or something else thrown in would give the lore and ideas you have more traction. I’m sure the ideas are really good but you already know that unless there’s reason to, most people will choose not to read lore-dump posts.

Got some more stuff cooking. Music, specifically. Got a new motherboard and processor so I did a fresh install of windows, which… fucked up all my fl studio plugins. Won’t be able to use em for a while, so I’m going to post a thing I had on the backburner.
Also, it’s my dog’s birthday. This is the important part, forget about that other shit. Look at her.
It’s her birthday.. she even got ice cream. -

Im working on halloween during that whole trick or treating thing.
I devote all of my worldly possessions and wealth to @dubsyne in accordance with my will (a toothpick and maybe a bar of soap.)
Anyways here’s a thing. Certainly a thing. Based on an old post. -
Lore bit:
The istener fruit is a highly prized delicacy amongst the Valkyrians. This sweet fruit is loved by the race, thanks to not only its sweet-citrus taste, but because it contains raw sunlight, a necessity in the Valkyrian diet. The istener vine uses sunlight in such a way that instead of converting it into energy, it stores the light inside its fruit. Thanks to this, Valkyrians enjoy a tasty and energetic snack that fills them with sunligt during the summer seasons.
Emily in particular cannot, and I repeat, Cannot have enough istener juice, or anything istener fruit related. One could say she has a problem… but we won’t.-
thanks now I’m gonna do a drawing based on that image. also is it safe for humans to drink

It should be. People other than Valkyrians can also consume the fruit, they just don’t gain as much of a benefit since the stored sunlight only helps Valkyrians replenish energy.
It’d probably taste good still at least.

Finished.
I am starting to despise working at a deli. 1$ of extra pay isn’t worth having to deal with middle aged women from new york who use slang for the sandwiches they want. And the old guys who can’t speak above a whisper. Someone did order a single slice of white bread and was surprised and kinda pissed when it costed a whole dollar, so that’s funny.
We get free coffee at least.-
Welcome to entry-level work
No matter if you leave your job and find another, 9 times out of 10 it’s going to be pretty draining. Stick to it, deliver whatever you can to the job and hopefully you can find some satisfaction or reasoning for keeping it going.
Good luck and all the best

Thanks man. I totally get that entry-level work usually sucks, but the deli is definitely a master of it.
Really hoping I can get myself switched to do stocking full time, going to give the deli another week or two to see if it improves. I’m much more tuned to stocking stuff and keeping everything tidy, especially during the closing shift. It’s kinda enjoyable. The manager is very understanding, and I did tell him that I’m not confident with deli work, so I’ll see if he’ll be willing to get me on more stocking.
And hey, it’s not all Too bad, it’s a very small local-grocery store so we’re not slammed like huge establishments. Except around this time of year. God damn leaf peepers…
