Exiled is a series of animations I’ve been working on, which follows Lucky, a void-cursed Valkyrian.
Plot summary being rewritten, check back soon.
Here I post updates on the story, short test animations, figures, lore dumps, etc.
Episodes:
Currently going through an overhaul. I would prefer to start on stuff that’s more fun for now, and not exactly canon.

Some cozy little thing I made to try and feel some semblance of warmth in the hostile frozen world of connecticut.
The in universe equivalent of christmas for this story is “Kinenac,” a Kinsian originating holiday that celebrates the inception of the world itself. It is a week or so long ordeal, symbolizing the week it took for AllKin to forge all the lands, ending on a new year which is marked by an aurora that can be seen across all realms.
Gifting was part of the holiday once Valkyrians and Kinsians merges their cultures ages ago. -
Something I made last night. Never really explained the big ring in the sky that has been in multiple posts before.
TL;DR, that’s a “protection rune” that circles the skies of Valkyria. It acts as a barrier, repelling any creature attempting to fly higher than the clouds. Without it, any random person with the capability of flight could just enter the city of Valksung unimpeded. -

Animating spear attacks is… a handful. I tried though.

Miscellaneous prop time, getting back into the swing of creating stuff so I’m starting small.
This is whispering mist, an Aquarian brew. It sorta tastes like very strong garlic bread, and is one of the only carbonated drinks commonly available to most of the realms. Its name is derived from it’s bubbling contents, a bottle “whispering” once you uncork it.
It’s Hydro’s (and Allison’s) favorite drink, and they always keep a few bottles in their travel bags. The design on the front depicts Jeika, God of the Ocean, bleeding from his wrist.
It relates back to this post from a year ago, check it out if you want an explanation as to what the design means. https://sticknodes.com/activity/p/1340435/-

Although not any sort of warrior, Emily has trained her ability to summon light based illusions using her essence. Although they cannot do physical harm, they are quite the tool for skirmishes, as her team can take full advantage of the confusion she causes with her fake attacks.
I’m also clearly a bit rusty…
-
How many illusions can she make at once?
-
Replying to:
Depends on their overall complexity and how long she focuses them. She could probably handle around 3 animated humanoid illusions, any after that really starts to put a strain on her. Simple objects with little complexity and movement are much easier to make illusions out of.
-
Replying to:
I see, so in theory, would she be able to throw a rock at a person and would it hurt? And then if she were to make a chair, would someone be able to sit on it, or would they just fall through?
-
Replying to:
Judging by the post, probably no to both things
light based illusions
Although they cannot do physical harm
These most likely mean they can’t do harm or interact physically with the world, as they are light based
I’m not Lucky though so idk
-
Replying to:
What Manny said, they’re non physical and would pass harmlessly through anything. And though light can sometimes do damage (particularly nasty burns and razor thin cuts/stabs,) she is far too inexperienced to utilize it.

Really forgot to work on this for a while, huh. Guess that’s what happens when you get caught up in stuff. I just realized how long it’s actually been since any notable developments. Hopefully I can pick things back up this month, in the meantime here’s low effort shitpost I made. Peace.

Finally managed to finish this one… I’ve grown to realize bandlab kinda just sucks, so this took longer to make than I wanted to.
I’m actually putting the effort in to learn how to use a decent DAW and whatnot, so this is my last piece I’m composing in bandlab. I’ll likely remake this in the future anyways but enjoy, or don’t.-

Emily Lightseeker is a small and timid Valkyrian woman. Despite being born into a clan of rich and traditional warriors, her small size and nervous disposition makes her a lackluster warrior. However, despite her somewhat shallow combat skills and weak physicality, Emily is able to use her essence to mend physical wounds instantly, and create light illusions. This gift is vital to her team, as the ability to practically undo damage at the fly is an invaluable resource, and her illusion skills can quickly turn the battle in their favor. She is regularly friendly and affable towards those who are close to her. She is by far one of the most caring and understanding of her comrades, the rest of her friends finding solace in her gentle and healing nature. Emily is not without her issues, though. She suffers from bouts of extreme doubt and fear during battle, as well as low self-esteem in general. Emily’s anxieties cause her to second guess her skills and worthiness as a member of her team, which results in her hesitation and inability to act under pressure.
She also has an Istener-fruit addiction.

Hydro Finlay Lamonet is a simple Aquarian man, whose only goals in life is to hunt monsters, travel, work for coin, and drink himself into a stupor. Having a love for travel, he and his close companion Allison seek to roam the world and bring down the greatest threats they can find, all while spending their paychecks on their next drinking trip or a nice night at an expensive inn. He is a brave, resilient warrior, who is able to use his vast resources and knowledge to overcome most obstacles. His fighting style is generalized, being decently proficient in many fields. From archery, to swordsmanship, to essence wielding, to hand to hand combat. A true jack of all trades. He has a tendency to always keep his head high, and does his best to keep his teams morale high with his witty attitude and ever-present smile. Hydro is often considered one of the more laidback members of the Exiles, rarely ever losing his temper or getting angry.

this is great, i was thinking of trying o make something like this for a small little side/top banner for the website
but i was gonna then pixelate it with the pixelate filter and have looping subtle animations and make it feel really cozy
