I don’t have much else to say, I’m mentally drained from working on him during the past few weeks.

I should probably mention that this wouldn’t at all have been possible without the help of my good friend @teothedan, especially when it comes to the creasing and the character design concepts, so show him some love

He’s almost finished, with the only 2 things missing being his arms. I expect to finish this either by tomorrow or Saturday, but no promises!

Nyaf Transgender Lore:

Nyaf was and is currently sexless, and was also genderless before making his way onto Earth. Calling him the N.Y.A.F. and an \”it\” would be more accurate when it comes to referring to the him before he crash landed into a bank vault. The N.Y.A.F. managing to hit its head made his brain \”reset\” to a childlike disposition, and a state of mind that\’s less artificial and more organic. If things happened only slightly differently, Nyaf likely would\’ve gained a new identity, being that of a girl. Nyaf\’s old personality/identity (both are relevant) as the NYAF is essentially lost, having forgotten the soldier mentality indoctrinated into him with the amnesia that made him forget his purpose for being on Earth. Basically, our Nyaf is not the same as the one before he came to Earth because they\’re two different people in a sense. Had Nyaf identified as a girl, she would\’ve used her Super-Proportionalism to grant herself a more feminine appearance with a suitably shaped body. And we probably would be calling her something like Nyaffie instead.
N.Y.A.F. doesn\’t stand for Not Your Average Fish by the way, but Nyaf thinks it does. He\’s completely forgotten what it really means, so not even I know.

This brings up the question surrounding the sound of his voice. Nyaf could use Super-Proportionalism to alter his vocal cords to make them produce more masculine sounds, but I doubt he actually cares about that. I\’m willing to bet that his voice is androgynous at least, or simply unclear.

Working on something I wouldn’t exactly call… average.

So, I’ve been working for a while on conceptualising the rest of Mellow’s team, since he was pirate captain without any semblance of a crew beforehand lmao
This is what I came up with:

Lumi Galvern is 5th member of the team, and holds within her an electrifying power. She’s about as energetic as one can get with abilities like hers, though she sometimes forgets to take it easy at times. Lumi fights with electrified whips that crack with the sound of thunder.
Tomoe Suzukaze is the 3rd member, a tough gal who’s isn’t as strong as she looks, because she’s far stronger. She holds within her the power of the wind, but you’ll find that her personality isn’t as rough as first impressions may give off. She fights with weaponised fans and a prosthetic arm to make her battles a breeze.
Zale Estuarna is the 4th member of the team, who holds within him the power of all forms of water. He’s an eccentric scientist who’s easygoing attitude can change on the fly like water itself. Zale fights with a hammer equaling himself in strength to erode away enemies.

Made a moodboard regarding my idea for Nyaf’s redesign. I don’t have much to say here, so I’ll allow the cluttered collage to do the talking for me.
