if i had to involve this song into Hemmingway’s lore, i’d say that he would sing this when his vessel is on it’s last legs of existence, as his vessel decays due to the weight of having to carry the spirit of a god
the reason for it sounding like a bunch of jibberish is because he is speaking his native tounge of Konjiin, as part of an ancient incantation to create a new form for himself that can hold his spirit without completely getting destroyed
btw, he happens to be the god of the universe that ALICE and other characters of mine reside
