  • So I did a combo test, I don’t do any combos that much. Gimme cnc.

    • Pretty good but there should be a use of arm and the leg looks like it breaks every time he goes for a kick. I recommend watching an animation and draw lines to show which wat the force goes. It should always be a curved line and never stops abrubtly unless being blocked or ending a combo and starting a new one

    • The most I can say is to add a bit of darkness to the back leg and arm so we can tell he’s swinging both his arms

      Otherwise, great animation

Thanks, but that’s unnecessary for such a small test. While that looks cool I wouldn’t do it for bigger projects either, since that would’ve been more work for me on angles etc…

    • We sometimes don’t use tween for me I use 18 ffp and 25 ffp to make my animation smoother

for small tests, I stick to 12, for serious stuff I do 24. 😀

    • The run is on point, well done. Use a floor though, even for tests. It provides perspective. Good work bobbing the head slightly. Subtlety like that is key.

      • Replying to: StickSince I've been of sticknodes for a while can you teach me

Sure. It does take some practice but It’s easy when you get the motion down. Essentially it’s all deception. If you watch the video again slow down the video to seen the frames. Because the way the camera is you would need to ease in and out when starting and ending. you need to keep increasing and decreasing their size. Every limb except the head and neck needs to be stretchy. You’ll find that you will still keep their limbs at around the same length. Also another great way to not get confused is to imagine the limbs as a different layer. Just start animating with stretchy limbs and slowly get more and more complicated. Other than that just keep practicing and you’ll get it in no time
