Lambda’s Russian Branch
In 20 years of world oppression by The Combine, many rebel groups fought for their freedom, but not as much as the Lambda Resistance group. A rebel group that started off small but eventually rises in power and gained the reputation of humanity’s hope, The Lambda Resistance was one of the biggest rebel groups the combine has ever faced, being global world wide in many Combine-Controlled cities.

City-51 was apart of them, a resistance group formerly known as the Russian Liberation Front was influenced by the Lambda Resistance, their communication with the vortigaunt comes to an agreement to join the lambda resistance to strengthen their firepower and numbers, the former RLF becomes the LRB, Lambda’s Russian Branch.

Following almost the same goals as lambda resistance, they commit themselves to covert operations and guerrilla warfare.

51’s Elite Civil Protector
These men and women showed their true loyalty to the Combine Empire, performing great expectations or even exceeding it for the overwatch, they’re entrusted to command and coordinate raids to hunt down any rebel groups hiding away in the shadows.

The Elite CPU is now armed with stronger weaponry, most of the time given Full Auto Rifles or Shotguns, mainly AK-74M’s and KS-23’s but sometimes they’re able to hold combine made weapons.

Their uniform and Mask has some changes to them most pieces like the ear and eye are given a red color to it, they’re given a protective vest with combine modifications that’s capable of withstanding a couple rounds of 7.62’s Point Blank.

Their Mask has also been reinforced with a stronger material now only being able to withstand .45 Caliber ACP, and better visibility with a HUD inside the Visor.

51’s Civil Protectors
Just like City-17, City-51 has their very own Civil Protection Units, theyre just about the same as the metro cops in personality, but their uniforms and weapons are completely different.

51’s CPU are mostly armed with small caliber Pistols or Submachine guns, mainly weapons made by old Russia.

Their Uniform takes on the form of the militsiya forces, The Soviet’s Police Force, unfortunately they don’t really have access to wear any protective vests at all, The Metro Cops atleast has something to keep them from dying to bullets, the CPU here has to suck it up and move on if they get hit by a bullet.

They also Wear an Armband to show which city they’re from, taken some inspirations from C-17’s Armband.

their Gas Mask takes the form of the PBF Gas mask, Recycled from The Combine, their mask now has a proper comms system and some form of protective layer over their face and head, though its only great at stopping 9mm, so it isnt much.
