You shouldve used the realistic deagle pack with this realistic figure
-

Do you guys think I should just release the Half-Life assets I’ve made so far? I’ll post a picture of them when I can. I’ve pretty much lost all drive for creating them so might as well upload right?
-
And here’s another video from me guys. This is almost everything I learned from the past 4 months of animating. Cnc and enjoy. XD 😀
-
Glasses dont even connect
-
Replying to:
Yeah. Hehe, sorry. I just don’t know how to do it properly.
-
Replying to:
It okay, just giving critism. I have glasses irl, and i know how to do that. Theres a reason why i was in the rhg shop
-
-
-
4 months? how the hell do i get good
-
Replying to:
I think you just have to believe and watch every good animator’s animations carefully and study how they do it. If you can’t do it on your own, call a friend. I didn’t know what I was doing until someone reached out his hand to help me.
-
-
some good xiao xiao action
good fluidity at the start with the dude just whipping around everywhere, well animated
-
Replying to:
Thnx sir.
-
-
The animation was better than I expected so ya got me there. But when he whips around the pole he should still keep his structure. There was no rhyme nor reason for him to shrink and disappear. I get that you’re trying to make a sense of illusion, but if you want to do that you should just keep body parts stretchy. And the fighting was a little too fast paced (personal opinion) if you want he audience to look at something and tell what’s going on then you should slow it down a little bit.
-
Replying to:
One more thing. Staging: when he hits the guy with his baseball bat he says the words, “oops,” so naturally I look over their to see what he says but at the same time I’m missing the action. You should direct the audience where to look instead of making too configuring for the audience. I recommend watching Allan Becker’s 12 Rules of Animation. And watch the staging video to learn how to stage properly.
-
Replying to:
Yeah. I just realized it too cause I already watched the 12 Principles by Allan Becker. The staging thing kinda flashed in my head but I got lazy. Lmao, sorry.
-
Replying to:
No need to apologize, you’ll improve over time

Replying to:
Thnx bro. :3

Oof. I think it’s corrupt. Here’s the link.-
Replying to:
Heyyy, i like that
For me, it’s too much talking
But actually, it’s really nice
9.5\10 (cuz unfinished)-
Replying to:
:3 Thnx man. I’ll start finishing this once I’m done with my duel for the tournament too. I think I’ll also post my tournament here too. Thnx for the feedback. I’ll lessen my conversations for duels too.

Nvm, I found a way. Anyway, here’s one of my anims. Pls. tell me where to improve and how I can improve.
-
Yes, it was all SN. And I’ll definitely make a story. Thnx for the comments btw.
-
i liek it
-
Replying to:
Thnx bro.

-
Thnx man. I’m so glad I joined this group. Lots of friendly people.
-
Thnx. I don’t know if I got potential though but as I said, I will not let you down.
-
Try using a variety of sound effects
Avoid playing sounds over eachother, add in pauses and spaces.
Remember and concentrate on how physics and gravity work to get more realistic and impactful combat.
Add in text to give the viewer a breif idea as to why they’re fighting and what’s at stake.
If you’re going for an anime look, keep non-tween but make it more jittery and movements sudden.
If you want a realistic or smooth look, use tween and then use the ‘do not tween frame’ button for those sudden movements.-
Replying to:
Sure thing. I’ll keep that in mind. Thnx
-
Replying to:
Oh, and while I’m at it.
While they’re harder to animate, more detailed and unique character designs can really spice up your animations. Take a look at The StickNodes Movie for example, Episode 8 has a lot of examples of unique character designs.-
Replying to:
Yeah, I saw that movie. Damn nice animations. You were the one who made it right? Really loved it! Anyway I just started animating 3 months ago so I still got a lot to learn. Thnx again. 😀
-
Replying to:
1) yeah, that’s my thing
2) damn, I’ve been here for years but i still struggle at getting fights to look that good. Then again, i strive to make my fights grounded and realistic so I can’t go overboard
-
Replying to:
Well, I tend to animate the stuff that’s somehow too exaggerated but still, it is TOO exaggerated.
-
Replying to:
You have gods, demigods, users with magic, and contraptions of war. I don’t see why you have to keep things grounded
-
Replying to:
It makes combat way more intense as characters could die much more easily
-
Replying to:
Oof
Have a point there
So for my series I should figure out how to mix things-
Replying to:
Btw, is a battle between swordsman and gunner really cliche?
-
Replying to:
A bit
-
Replying to:
hmmmm…. Then I guess I need to put some originality for my next animation.
-
Replying to:
Magic user vs necromancer
-
Replying to:
Actually, I was thinking of putting a fire elementalist to my animation and giving the swordsman lightning powers while the gunner has ice.
The fire elementalist’s my oc btw.-
Replying to:
Fire has been done a lot
How about gravity-
Replying to:
Hmmmmm…. I think esper – types are common too. I think everything’s already been animated. I guess it’s just how you execute your animations.
-
Replying to:
Beast summoner. Haven’t seen one of those in awhile. Or dimension slider
-
Replying to:
Yeah, good idea. Ok, I’ll add beast summoner if I got enough stks but I won’t include dimension slider cause I think it’s too OP and I’ll just kick my OC out for this one first.
-
Replying to:
Btw, do you know how to post vids. here without posting them on yt?
-
Replying to:
Nope
-
Replying to:
Oh well, I guess I need to complete my animations first then. Thnx for the help though.

A fight is getting generic in its entirety.
To make a fight scene good, it needs to be paired with good characters, nice design, some plot, all that jazz.
Try Animating something without combat maybe.-
Replying to:
Well, you have a good point but, I’m still animating basics of fighting. Complex chars. and backgrounds are too hard atm. I’ll try when I master mov
-
Replying to:
Movement first.
-
Replying to:
I’d say you’ve got enough skill done on basic figs.
I advise pretty much dumping basic figs altogether and progressing with detailed figs or you’ll end up like all the others who can ONLY animate with bases and ridicule people who advise otherwise.Quick tip for animating detailed figs: when you want a limb to move towards the camera, switch to a simplified limb for that scene then switch back to normal once they stand normal again

Sure thing. But if they get in my way, I’ll have to give them a good roasting. But thnx for the heads up. 😀
-
Holy guacamoly, that was some good stuff dude! I liked the choreography, and you did a really good job with character placement and effects. Just remember to practice smoothing out movements and whatnot. If you’re doing this stuff after only three months, you’ve got a ton of potential lol. Keep at it!
-
Replying to:
Thanks man. I guess I could do better than this if I try.
-
Replying to:
I mean if I really try HARDER than this one. Maybe I could give it a go.

Hey,uhmmm…I\’m kinda new to this group. I\’ll try my best so that I will not disappoint you. XD

I made this animation, and I was just wondering what you guys think.

They’re supposed to be more faithful to the original designs
I started making the soldat but never finished the body and the other head poses
Also someone else already made an engineer so yeah
Nice
Someone will probably make a better soldat anyway
always a fan of some madness
it lends itself well to SN animation but nobody does it :/
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Looks good
