What is this? Well my friend, this is Team Deckers (idiot itβs in the name). This is a user based card game for Stick Noders. Simply, make your card, get it approved, and bam, your characters in the game. Below I will have all 3 steps for submission. But note, cards are to be submitted in the discord server. If your a rebel tho or donβt care about the rules at least @ me with a submission in the group or I wonβt get it. Anyways have fun!
Step 1
How to make a character- Well we will need to know a few things.
Did you make this character? Is yes continue, if not this character is automatically out
Is this character from a series you made? If yes say the name of the series, if not let us know so we can list it as an original character
What is itβs name? Just say the name and if it has a form you want it to be in
Whatβs itβs powers? Whatβs some info, gender? Anything we should know that could help us out.
Lastly, an image of the fighter so we can make sure it isnβt to close to an existing character or not super basic
Please follow these this list to make your character so we can verify all the info so you can move on to stage two

Now hereβs the second part and is as follows
Making your card
First off, youβll have to follow the pre-made format so that your card can be approved. Now having a card that is similar to another persons (moveset) shouldnβt be that big of an issue, but try to make yours a little different because we donβt want cards that work the same way
Now, we follow an 8 attack format with these forms of attack
-physical damage-just a melee attack like a punch or knife- low energy cost
-ranged damage- a real life or existing object. So a gun or bow.-low energy cost This is just long ranged moves
-poison damage- any move that does βchipβ damage or damage over time- low amount of energy needed to use
-magic damage- similar to ranged attacks, but they are anything that is not real like dark magic. But since they are βmagicβ they may be more powerful but cost more energy
-RNG- basically randomness. Like thereβs luck. So for example, the attack might be really strong, but has a 1/10 chance of hitting- energy cost is medium or average
-heal- heals you or your team mates- high energy cost
-boost- boosts your attack, heal, defense, anything- high energy cost.

So based on all of these moves, you can choose how many your character will get. And it can only add up to 8 attacks and 4 attacks of 1 type max. So hereβs an example of a good fighter and a bad fighter just for reference

As you can see, the bad fighter broke the two rules. The good fighter was in the exact format. And just to be clear, you donβt need to have the exact layout or numbers I did. You can do 1 of 5 attacks and 3 rng, or 4 heal and 4 magic. Whatever you want. As long as it follows that order

Abilities- after a certain amount of time has passed for a character, they can unlock an ability which comes with a special impact. Either changing form to a better card, an extra attack card (would not add a level 5 attack if you have 4 attack cards of the same variety), revive a teammate etc. and donβt make it super op like instant kill the opponent. That wonβt be accepted.
-Active ability this is an ability the character always has, without being activated. Could be to cost less for attacks or maybe a boost in health when you fall below a certain %
And be ready to change it if needed.

Again, we will check the fighter and if itβs approved you will head on over to animation. The first two steps could really be done within a day. Animation will take longer but thatβs to be expected. And this will be the hardest step of course. Everything will be explained of course and examples will also be shown. Good luck and see you in step 3

Quick note for the format, if you do any of the following attacks we will need more info-
poison- how many turns does each stage last?
RNG- what is the likelyhood of this happening, and what happens, for example heal, boost, block? No numbers for what happens just what happens. We will be doing damage numbers later on once this has more progress so for know everything is the same. So stage 1 ranged attacks all do 50 damage letβs say. I will talk about this at another date
Boost- what does this boost and who does this boost
Heal- who does this heal
Magic- what type of magic is this? Aka dark magic, fire, water?

So you made it to the final round…but will you last?
Anyways letβs just jump right into it. I will try and get some animation examples prepared so everyone knows what this should look like. However, Pokemon and Dragon ball legends are inspirations so I recommend seeing how animation works there until we get our references done. Anyways Iβll try and make this super detailed so thereβs no confusion about whatβs needed for animation

Basics

-Idle animation- just a simple loop of your character moving IE standing, sitting, floating
– switch animation- this is 2 animations. A jump, fly, teleport backwards and forwards. This will be used for card switches
-dash-this is just moving forward or backwards. Doesnβt need to be fancy but has to look like a dodge almost
-block- just a blocking animation where they donβt take damage from an attack. Please have the following
Block loop
Block start, middle and end
The loop is a combination of all three. The start is the beginning of a block, the middle is just the block, and the end is the transition into the idle. This is just to help the animation process. Loop and separate parts must be the same
-energy charge- think of dragon ball where they charge their aura. We donβt know if we will include charging fully yet but this is just in case. We will remove it from the post if we scrap it. This will be the same as a block
Charge loop, start, middle, end
-hurt-3 versions of a basic hurt animation or being hit
-fall- just the character falling down
-rise- character getting up
-K.O. The character being killed or knocked out. Make it creative.

This is the more fun part and I recommend doing it last. You will animate your attacks. So hereβs how this works. So in the game, you can select how many attacks you want to do, thatβs why we ask you how many rng, ranged, heal etc you want. So, for each stage attack you have, you need an animation for it. Iβll explain. So letβs say you have 4 rng attacks, each one you select in a round can have more damage. Keep following. So if you click it once and attack, itβs a basic animation, if you select 2 it looks a little stronger. Same with 3, looks stronger then 2 and 1. And 4 is the most powerful, so make sure it looks cool. If this is confusing let me know and Iβll explain in more detail. Iβll provide an example for reference

Stage 1- weak looking animation
Stage 2- slightly better
Stage 3- best looking of the 3
And repeat with the others. Now if you only have 1 stage for an attack, donβt make it look super op. Remember itβs just a weak or basic attack so it should be like a super attack even tho thereβs only one

-super/ultimate- this is the strongest attack a character will have. Make it look awesome. Remember this is a moveclip so there are limitations. I recommend a big build up than a hit. Easy to animate the attack and all. If we can for the game make it more of a cutscene we will

Team super/ ultimate
This is when you hit your super/ ultimate and it is enough to end the match. And if you have a team mate or two that are still alive and you have one cut scene that finishes match.

Keep in mind we may change this. So some things can/will be fixed, removed/ added. So please try and wait 1-2 weeks so we can confirm animations. But if you decide to do it anyway and we change something we arenβt to blame. And again, we may change things a month from now, we will say in advance what we are thinking about changing. So if your character was accepted and we remove or add anything, hereβs what happens. You will have 3 weeks from the change to update the character and @ me or @ a mod or above that you changed it. So if there is no @ or no one sees it we will assume there is no change and after the 3 weeks your character will be invalid. You can reapply but will have to rewrite the form. This is mainly preparing for a game thatβs why this is more strict. You can still do animations tho. And they will most likely be the exact same as the game. We want this too be a quality game or series everyone can enjoy. Also I do plan to help anyone thatβs needs help. So if you need help with anything please dm so I can assist.
