Hey @foxinater101, @gens and @thegamerxcrf I wanted to make an RHG that’s… actually good but… I’m bad at this.
I don’t want to sound harsh but, can you guys make a character that has a dark gray hoodie, with black gloves, puffy dark green jeans and brown shoes. His ability is a stando. (yes I’m a jojofag) his stand is like d4c without the ears and a light blue cord like hermit purple coming out off his arms if you can do one or both I would be very happy to animate them, thank you guys!-

If an all black base stickfigure is a 1, I’d say a 2. I see that you added some detail, but there’s really no appeal to it. Nothing that makes it stand out and make someone think, “oh that’s awesome.”
Don’t worry though, you’ll get there eventually.

0 – 2, bland and aggressively generic, hard to tell it apart from the million other figures just like it.
You’ll want to get some more interesting details, maybe light armour, of if they’re pyrokinetic, some protection for their hands since that would probably be their main weapon.

Just like everyone else here is saying, it is just a base stickfigure with black gradients on their forearms.
You should aim to know what your RHG is like, meaning its abilities, strengths, weaknesses, backstory. Rather than just a base stickfigure with lightning powers or something basic like that.
Consider these things when creating an RHG:
-Abilities
-Strengths
-Weaknesses
-Names
-Relationships
-Personality
-Even sexual preference can affect some things (for example a gay character could be portrayed as a guy with perkier lips and walk with their legs overlapping for each step)
-Clothing
-Body language
-BackstoryThat’s about it, then implement things that would commonly associate with your RHGs personality and try and fit that through clothing and body language. An example of this is:
Who would be the tough jock? (One on the top or bottom?)

Hmm, make him more bulky i guess?
Try adding a unique style that says “you made it”, or expand the outline
Try lessening detail, more detail does not mean better, a good and unique style can carry a figure, and so does a good color palette, try toning down on the gradients and add plain color combinations, again, a good color palette beats any amount of gradients, i see the red-yellow combo, it’s a good color palette but execution is meh, try darkening the red.But the fig as it’s own is good, could use some improvements, but it’s decent as it is.

Usually I’d just draw myself as a Knight because I like being the Knight/Warrior type in RPGs or something. A knight doesn’t have to be slow and stupid. They can be strategic, and plate mail isn’t that heavy as it claims to be.

Well plate mail does still add abit of weight and body klunk, also noise so minus stealth points, so try lessening up and since strategical, add slots instead of platemail, for example; knife holster, slinger, idk, you decide, as to most he just seems like a normal knight, and once again, most knights are percieved to just run into danger swinging with a weapon and somehow coming out on top lol.

Rock Hard Gladiators, used to be a popular stickpage animation competition thing, where you challenge an animator to a fight with your characters, and finish it before a certain, chosen deadline.
If one of the animators do not make it, the other one wins by default, if they both make it, then a poll is made to make people vote for the best version of the fight, the one with the most votes wins canonically.
