Did you know? Toho has made obscure superhero shows copying off ultraman’s success! Most famously, Zone fighter! A show set in the godzilla universe which also means he periodically fights alongside Godzilla and has fought Ghidorah and Gigan! Whom he killed.

So…i have an idea to talk about different kaiju until october 31st and right now? I’m doing it.
Today? Hedorah.
I mean, I couldn’t do obvious kaiju so why not somethin a wee bit-scratch that how about ALL the weirdness! Yes, Godzilla vs hedorah is the strange duckling of the showa series due to it being 1. Confusing (like that one dance party scene where everyone was wearing fish masks for some reason) and 2. Hedorah
if you don’t know about hedorah he’s a Alien sludge monster from the dark gaseous of the orion constellation who travelled on a comet for at least 243 light years and landed on earth feeding off its pollution. He’s able to evolve, change forms, divide, recombine, destroy, and cause pollution. Like, holy sh*t those people under hedorah’s flying stage disintegrated! And all left are bones and a green substance! Jesus! And he didn’t even have any malice while doing that!
He is actually the most difficult kaiju Godzilla had to fight. Hedorah can fire red beams from his eyes (which apparently they were modeled on female genitalia…and yoshimistu banno (r.i.p) has said “well, come on, vaginas are scary!”…weird right?) and these red beams have been able to burn Godzilla’s skin actually! Hedorah can emit sulfuric mists in his flying stage which as i said can disintegrate humans and other organisms, corrode any materials, and even caused the big G to have some trouble with breathing. His next ability is to use his sludge! Which can either kill you by acidic means or smother you. Hedorah can discharge this acidic sludge without impacting his size and any projectile attack attempts by the jsdf passed right through him due to this sludge. He used the sludge to damage godzilla’s eyes, attempt to drown godzilla in a pit full of sludge (in which hedorah was laughing while doing), and damaging one of godzilla’s arm down to the bone. Lastly hedorah has 5 stages: tadpole stage, aquatic stage, landing stage, flying stage, and perfect stage!
There is only about 2 weaknesses: being dried by giant electrodes, and getting obliterated by a strong stream of atomic breath.
Also he smokes. Seriously, in his landing stage he straight up smoked a smokestack…damn dude…

Fun fact: Godzilla 1998 bombed so hardly that Toho destroyed it.
What i mean is that the People at Toho didn’t like godzilla 1998 so much they Took 98’ Godzilla and renamed it to Zilla. then, put it in the 50th anniversary movie (Godzilla Final Wars 2004) just to be killed on screen by the Most strongest Godzilla incarnation of all…thats a hardcore way to go man…glad the tv series did better.
