The Stick Nodes community is having a party, and you’re invited! Animate your OC jumping from the roof of the house everyone is at, and onto the trampoline in the backyard.
new .stknds file, be sure to animate over this
Entries should be short and sweet, 18 fps, animating on twos is allowed, recommended time of around 5-10 seconds, absolute maximum without first checking with me first is 20 seconds. (More can be allowed, but not much, and definitely tell me your plan before animating that much.)
Sound effects are highly encouraged, but do not add any sound effects to the trampoline. I will do this in post.
Camera movement isn’t allowed, keep the camera in one place during the whole animation so I can overlay them all properly.

i should make an entry where my dude just snaps his acl and falls off the roof and breaks his neck
for the lols

Man, I don’t know how you guys do it. This is REALLY good! I only ever have to worry about the body hands and head but people animating a humanoid have to move each individual node!

It’s all about practice. I’ve been animating for years to get to this point, and it’s almost a reflex for me to know how human like characters move and are affected by gravity. It’s only been recently where I realized this.

HEY. If it were up to me i would be eating chips in my room, animating shit all day. But thanks to my dad, I have to “play outside”
-
Replying to:
Your father is doing you a great service, if you spent all your time doing the same thing it’d get repetitive and you may lose interest entirely.
Getting a good balance is ideal trust me.

So
You’re saying
Giant being of space matter won’t rip it
But dude with slightly heavy armor will…

Replying to:
Well technically the trampoline would’ve been crushed to pieces, so would the house, and the dirt.. And would’ve fell through the whole planet if used to full mass but didn’t want it to end like that so i used one of the abilities i gave him to allow him to be able to preserve the trampoline.

I question how many people will know what I’m talking about but there was this Paper Mario game on the Wii where you could flip to 3D and 2D, you had these little companions with special abilities.
Your character here looks like it could pass for one.
I have no idea what game it is but I think I remember watching someone else play it.
Pixls:
Oh, it’s not that. I was thinking of paper Mario thousand year door.
I haven’t played that nor can I, but maybe one day if I can get my hands on it, I’ll play it.
I played that and got scared by the part where the secretary transformed into a spider, turned it off and never played again
8/10
Mimi
I don’t blame you, for a kid’s game it’s awfully mature, the themes, nature of the area and characters and of course the creepy aspect of it.
Like you have to go to basically Mario hell at some point in the game and that’s incredibly creepy, especially what is basically the river Styx’s.
That’s what I like about older Nintendo games, it’s much more mature despite being a kids game and much more careful effort is put in to make it enjoyable even if you’re an adult, now it’s just haha fart noises, character’s become flatter than a pancake humour and some basic plot like world domination because someone though they smelt bad or something dumb like that.
Excuse the rant.
Oh wait I forgot to add a watermark
oh no
i heard the minecraft death sound
