Umamusume: Pretty Derby is a Japanese multimedia franchise created by Cygames. The franchise centers on anthropomorphised racehorses known as Umamusume (ウマ娘; lit. ’horse girls’), who compete in races inspired by real-life race tracks managed by the Japan Racing Association. Most of the characters are named after and modeled on actual racehorses, reflecting their namesakes’ personalities, racing records, and relationships with other racehorses. Initially announced in 2016 as a mobile game, the project soon expanded to include multiple anime series, manga, and live concerts.

Welcome to the Umamusume: Pretty Derby! Group.I created this group since I want to be more active on sticknodes but also because I enjoy this series and the game a lot! It’s currently one of my biggest hyperfixations currently and it’s not gonna disappear anytime soon. I’ll be discussing strategies for certain Umas, and support cards and the Uma’s themselves! I’ll also be discussing the horses they are based off of and why some horses aren’t in the game! I’ll also be discussing the impact on certain horses, like Tokai Teio, Or Oguri Cap. I know a lot about the game and I want to share my experience and thoughts with you all!

I then proceeded to go into autism mode and infodumped a lot about Umamusume.
But I’ll give you the basic answer; there are no male Uma’s in Umamusume, everyone is a female. The way to discover if your horse was a male or a female is by looking at their ear decoration. Left ear means male right means female. So for example, if we take Oguri Cap, who was a male in real life, she has her ear decoration on her left ear.

Number one, there’s a horse named Skibidi Rizz who’s distant cousins with Grass Wonder. Number 2, they need to race in the jra. (Japanese Racing Association.) They have not.
