A series involving several nations who are on the same mission to colonize an untouched continent on an unnamed planet. These nations all hold very different beliefs and have little thought on even attempting to work together. Technology is very advanced for some countries while others are not. All of these countries hold their own problems that instigate massive conflicts between each other.

So PL episode 4 has been out for a week now. If you haven’t watched it, treat yourself. Go and grab a bowl of popcorn and watch this thing. Lot’s of work put into it.
For those of you who have watched it, you might ask what is next. What is next is a bit of a surprise, but I am taking Christmas to just chill out. Then in January I am picking up a solid and consistent part time job since I need money and unfortunately, PL Episode 4 has only made me 2 and a half bucks so far. That being said, it is constant income that hopefully will pay off long term.
In other words once I get working again, I am taking a new approach to how I am making this series. It will go more like this.
I write the script, I let people check it and I go through a stage of correction and altering. While they’re doing that, I will work on various assets that will be needed to efficiently get through the next stages without any halt in progress. After that I will go into the process of preparation which will also weave into animation. Except I will not be working on animation immediately. I will send out projects as I make them so people who are helping out with animation can get to working on things faster and have tons of time to get things right before I start steamrolling through things. I will prepare projects first, then these projects will all be animated when they are prepared. And because the whole animation is prepared, I can gauge where I am at in progress more effectively. Of course, once animation is done, I will render the final bits. After that, the final stage is post production. None of these will be overlapping each other anymore. I will get set on doing one thing at a time. This won’t be as overbearing for me and likely will just be more efficient. With this next project, I intend to iron out a few things in terms of design. I want to fix a number of things on the base to run out a final base that I will work with for the rest of the series. I also want to remake a couple of things which includes a remake of the Attachment pack pretty much. Which won’t just be remakes but some additions as well.
In the near future I plan to do less for really filler content. I won’t try so hard to get something out each week and will be more focused on putting out higher quality content rather than a chunk of little sneak peaks. I will still do a teaser on my next project once I get that rolling.
Once the sprite update releases, I will get working again as well as any animation of mine from now on will be at 4K resolution. If it is a sneak peak or a trailer, it will not be 4K though. I will also be doing all sound work on my PC since I find that way easier and less restrictive.
Going forward, I got plenty to do, but at least now I have my footing. Episode 4 broke me into bringing in other peoples help so everything should be more efficient from start to finish on the next project. To put into perspective. I had the final 10 minutes of this episode done within a month.
That being said it was with a schedule of working day an night on the project. The final part of episode 4 was also insanely intense in the action and visuals and everything and I was burnt out. Now that I am on a fresh start moving forward, I am positive I can get a lot more done in shorter amounts of time.
Lastly. Thank you for all the comments, them be critical, positive or just basic conversation on what is going on in the series where people are pointing out the countless details, making jokes and memes, discussing the story, talking about the characters. As much as I hope for this series to make me money, it takes the support from all of you people to push me to seeing the worth in it. It’s not the money I hope to make off of the passion project that pushes me to do better, it is seeing people be entertained and inspired to do more with this application.
Past year has been really rough for me on a motivation standpoint with people out there insulting me, claiming my content doesn’t improve at all and hasn’t improved, putting their political fanaticism ahead of the value of friendship, actively twisting and distorting decisions I make into horrible things that I have done in what I can only assume is attempts to cancel and drive me through the mud because I ended up making someone mad over something petty. This month is a high point for me and each and every comment on my work only amplifies that and makes me excited to do more. Thank you once again for supporting me and continuing to support me.
Now, Merry Christmas. Enjoy the best of what this season has to offer cause I have and it has been a real boost to my mood. I hope to soon have some new stuff to share with you and I will see if I got some assets to post on the site soon. Been a while since I have posted something.

Long time no see. One big remake complete with a mess of the past few months. Despite my countries political stability rapidly declining and a government possibly looking to Ruby Ridge me, I am alive and still getting stuff done. Not as much as I would like, but I am back on the grind.
Time for a lore dump.
With the deployment of the Combat Bot, the need for a new robot in place of local law enforcement became necessary. Combat Bots became a clear liability in domestic combat with flawed target identification and plating which caused bullets to spall, causing civilian casualties in growing rebel threats. The need for a domestic replacement was urgent which resulted in a more cost effective, less overkill and practical robot around Thaltop. This allowed them to improve the existing flaws on the gen 1 platform while development began on the gen 2 platform. The enforcer bot became a staple of the country of Thaltop.
The Enforcer Bot utilizes the same metal casts as the combat bot with a few modifications, using aluminum instead of expensive titanium steel alloy.
The lighter weight opens up faster mobility for chasing suspects along with the improved foot design enabling frighteningly fast run speeds. They are equipped with non lethal gear like OC spray and 40mm rubber heads. They are also programmed to be more personal with the citizens, interacting and speaking to them. Their visual capabilities are also enhanced for distant identification and sensing. The prongs on the front of the head pick up signals to catch smells and tastes, catching dangers to the public as well as tracking illegal drugs. Soft armour plate serve to not just catch bullets and protect the bot, but also more to reduce spall and richochets, increasing safety to surrounding non combatants. -
Stupid question what if in some alternate universe of project landfall some how magically 1st recon marine unit misfit 1-3 from bf3 which consists of staff sergeant Henry Blackburn,LCPL David montes,PFC jack chaffin,Staff sergeant Steve campo, navy EOD James matkovic, and lieutenant cole, is it possible they would be attacked on sight by any nation?just a thought

We are going full force into a remake. First time I have done a full episode remake, however this one is needed. Enjoy a teaser while work my ass off to get the next chunk of it done.

Finally. Ngl. Remaking stuff is pain especially when you are trying to improve something while remaining faithful. Think I got it with this though.
Aimed for less of a cluttered look with just a more organised and in depth design making every detail more clear and cutting certain things I felt took a bit away from the design.
I planned on making things more complex but decided against that given how limited things currently are still.
It’s better that I keep things to a sustainable level of quality because I have to do more of this later. But now I gotta do some animation. -

I notice that the headset is a little jagged in curvature, would using 1-3 curved segments reduce nodes? (I’m not saying drastically, but maybe some.)
-
Replying to:
That one is old. There were no curved segments at that time. Even then curved segments feel a bit limited.
-
Replying to:
I see. No, literally; I see the helmet.
