  • Hello. I have officially finished the Samurai pack. It will be named “WLs 2nd Samurai Pack’ on the site, and was submitted yesterday. Below is the thumbnail.
    I have also included a closer look at each of the armors in an image. There is a huge essay of description about the history and function of each armor in the pack.
    What is special about this pack is that it will be my 100th figure. This is very important to me, and I want to say thank you all for helping me get here 🙂
    As said before, it will be on the site shortly; a week or two. Make sure to look out for it!

  • Samurai crests/maedate. I have now officially finished the masks and crests, the pack is basically done now.
    1. Ultimate Amateratsu – Named after the storm goddess of Shinto
    2. Cobra Fangs – Named this because of the two distinct points
    3. Trident – There are three sharp points, therefore a trident
    4. Kami – Japanese word for gods, basic maedate for low samurai
    5. Cherry Blossom – Named for the flower on the crest
    6. Yokai – The traditional Japanese demons, Yokai, hence the horns
    I’m not entirely sure how I am going to fit ALL of the content and what it can do in one picture, without going over the node limit and/or making some of it small and hard to see. I guess we will find out. Like the masks, if the pack gets good feedback, I will make another pack of 10 or so different ones (Probably in a large pack of 10 masks and 10 crests).

  • Finished samurai masks
    Shogun, Goshi, Oni, Ghost, Hatamoto, and Dragon.
    Shogun is based off the Kensei mask from For Honor
    Goshi is based on the traditional historical mempo
    Oni is based off, well, an oni
    Ghost is based on Ghost of Tsushima
    Hatamoto is based off a random clipart from Google
    Dragon is based off a random decorative mask from Amazon
    If the pack gets good feedback when submitted, I will make another pack of 10 or so different masks, it depends

  • Two new masks, only took two months to make (An hour)
    Above is the original and below is showcasing what parts change color. Aka the teeth. Just two more masks, 3 more Maedates/Crests, and a few tweaks, then I will submit the pack for my 100th figure.

  • Yeah, I’m still making the samurai pack
    First picture you can see the Ashigaru and Kimono/Hakama (With the Conical Hat/Ronin Kasa)
    Second picture you may observe the first mask, the Shogun Mempo
    I only need to make a bunch of masks and crests now and I should be finished. Then this huge pack will be submitted.
    I want to make a front view pack but then I’ll need to make a front view of everything: Masks, Crests, Armors, all that. And I think that would excede the pack limit, lol. It would already be about 20 as of right now, and I still have a bunch of stuff to make

  • Hi. I really want to get into animation, but whenever I try, the animation comes out bad and unpresentable. I\’ve tried watching tutorial videos and such but they either don\’t help in general or don\’t help with SN specifically. Can anyone provide good tips for fast-paced animation? Videos you think could help a lot too I would also appreciate

      before getting into that, how are you at just basics?
      a walk, jump, some more complex interactions (climbing a box) etc

      fast-paced is basically just the basics, with a lot of frames cut out as to emphasize the speed (+ smears, very important)

        Most of them arnt even tutorials. They’re just a time lapse of someone animating.

    • You cannot instantly make an animation un-suck, it’s like un-punching someone, you can’t, you just have to wait and see if it improves, just mess around

  • Okay I was bored so I made my own rendition of the Badges/Roles. I know they aren’t exactly the right formula for the badges (Probably not even the right size if there is one) but it’s just how I like to imagine them.
    I know I’m supposed to be working on a lot of figures but who cares. I’ll get them done soon enough.
    From left to right order:
    Row 1. Crusader, UC Voter, UC Winner Lvl 1, 2, 3, and 4
    Row 2. Occifer, Translator, Featured Lvl 1, 2, 3, and 4
    Row 3. Administrator, Moderator, Noder Roles (Mega, Pro, Master, Legendary)
    Anyways this isn’t supposed to be taken really seriously and I haven’t done pixel art in a while, but I felt that I haven’t posted anything here a bit, so here is this to keep it consistent

I’ve been waiting aeons for someone to make a Sifu stick figure or pack, at some point i tried making my own and failed miserably, but you are really great at fashioning Asian culture, I feel like you’d make a killer Sifu fig that would guarantee get Users Choice and win the SN award

  • Okay, remade the Gusoku set and added some stuff to O-Yoroi. I think it’s a big improvement and probably for the best the last one was deleted, this is way better. Only two sets left, and they are both way easier than these two.

  • Stick Nodes decided to delete the Gusoku body armor and helmet for no reason. Literally just those two; they weren\’t even my newest figures or anything, nor the biggest. But they are gone. I will have to start all over on them. Luckily the front and back arms were not deleted, nor was the new crest. The update will be posted on the finished Gusoku project (Again), maybe I\’ll also make the Ashigaru armor in my spare time.

  • Gusoku armor almost finished, just need to make the helmet. Once I’m done I’m going to focus on crests and mask before moving onto the next armor set. I also plan to redo the O-Yoroi armor, I think it needs a bit more detail and realism, it looks cartoonish in a way next to Gusoku.
