Do you know about Jin-Roh ?
I doubt you do, it’s a great anime.
It’s released in 1999, and for the time, it was like every other anime, but it you watch it now, it will looks like the best thing you’ve ever seen.
Go to your DVD store, ask for a Blu-ray of it, buy it, go and watch it.

So basically balance it, be productive in your day as much as you may feel like you don’t want to once you’ve done something productive you’ll feel proud of yourself and want to play games for longer and find it more enjoyable.
