• We have the most oil out of all the states
• Tex-Mex Food
• No income tax
• We have the worlds largest gas stations
• Blue Bell
• We’re so freaking large we have to be divided up into multiple regions
• Everybody loves cowboy hats
• Whataburger
• Blue October
• Beyoncé
• George Strait
• Scott freaking Joplin
• Dr. Pepper
• Buc-ee’s
• We’re the only state that’s had the flags of six different nations flown over it. Speaking of that…
• If it weren’t for Texas we wouldn’t have Six Flags
• Texas is home to 10 major sports teams
