Learn from mistakes of others and try to study how to make good novel story.
That’s kinda what I did. My recommendation is to read “The everything guide to writing your first novel”. It is very helpful and I got it from Humble Bundle writer sale but yeah-
After reading it I just watched all those SN series, adressed the mistakes, watched some anime, considered it’s good and bad sides too. As well finding out where the plot started falling apart. -
