Rip. We both suffer. Sadly tho if I make such edits every time I won’t even use parallax at all 🙁
Good thing I might not-

Now. If we consider how old the app was made, then it would make it start since 2014, which is also the year I used this software for the first time.
But if we consider my experience with animation, then it would go all the way back to 2007 when I did my first stickfigure animation using just Ms paint and windows movie maker on XP System.
But if the Windows XP system was made in- okay we should stop right there because I’m gonna literally go through how Egyptians bulid pyramids and how sand was invented.

Like I said- about 8 hours- 2-4 if I had idea what was I supposed to do.
But if we are gonna consider how I used old project that’s the base of character and how old it is I’d say months-
But if we took into consideration how old is that base stick that would make it almost a year.
Yet that base is edit of my base which is another edit of my older base and so on making it years-

Also if you want to toy around you could send me a vid of you recording two points on a wall or smth while moving your phone around. Then I’d put it as the camera movement in the anim. It’s dope lol.

Decided to push what I had in mind for quite some times now into a proof of concept. It seems to be going successful. 8 hours of constant work and trying to figure it out.
The animation is done in sticknodes, then composed and edited in Hitfilm Express (Free editing software). The parallax, depth, background is done thanks to 3d editing that is possible there. The camera wobble was done by myself, recording two points with my phone and then tracking it. Wanted to make trees cast shadows but I didn’t know how :chttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGiAUQEYSxU
Step up your game ya’ll.
The parallax
The original animation from SN
Here’s also the tracking (used buttons of my pen tablet while playing video)
Kinda wishing @ralph would feature it if I added audio but it’s too short prob so rip :’)

Most games are crappy, and then there are some people who take it seriously and make roblox Call of Duty or smth with insane graphics, or crash dummy game, or a map where there’s natural disaster and you have to survive it every short round on random map.
It can be kewl.

i kinda want to record two spots and rotate my phone around 360
Too bad you can’t record two points when they are out of view- also it only tracks it as flat surface I think so me sad-
BTW I actually had 360 video in mind multiple times and slowly going for possibility that maybe I’d be able to one day-
Tho putting it together with stick Nodes could be pain-
Also got sticknodes 3d before everyone. Scrubs-
what the actual heck arc
I mean, what the actual heck
wtf is with these screenshots its making me stressed just looking at them
how long it take to make this from start to finish

im waiting for you to get to the part about the genesis of the carbon atoms inside your brain that formed your first thoughts about the project
Nah let’s talk about how sand was invented.
no but seriously very impressive, even all the tracking things
I really like the way the wobble is, especially with the parallax
I wanted (and still do) to revamp the camera wobble in SN because it’s too “perfect” now
I looked into it and apparently applying Perlin Noise is the solution but after crying internally after trying to figure out how I even apply such a thing for a couple hours I gave up

Me sad no comments. I guess no one wants Stick Nodes 3d now.
you must learn the ancient art of posting at active times
aka evenings
aka weekend evenings
or friday evenings
Nah they just don’t want Stick Nodes 3D anymore.
