Kinda curious, but what exactly do you want to do with Nodes being written to .py? Like what’s your next step.

Oh yea coming up with interesting oc’s can be hellish. Depending if your aim is the personality itself or the design.
When it comes to personality, I recommend thinking about the characters hobbies (3 is a good number), their flaws (that they decide to reveal to others or not), and their goals (either their childhood goal, promise, or working on their flaws).
When it comes to design however… I suck at it and I need help on it myself lol.

Don’t worry! If you get a duplicate you’ll be able to salvage it for 20 node bucks, when you get to 100, you’ll be able to make one free pull!
Speaking of free pulls, if you purchase 10 draws you’ll also get one extra.

You can only download sticks via lootboxes. Have fun spending 5 bucks to only end up with “doors pack” sticks.

Okay so like… I managed to dig up old documentation @vincetheanimator did for the .nodes format which might be useful for you. Though its a bit outdated format for 3.1.4 or something so you’d need to ask them for the polyfill version etc.

unless some QoL mods like magic storage, but that also is a bit weird.

I’d say go vanilla first, calamity is a totally different hellhole that overhauls the game drastically.

@vincetheanimator is already way ahead of you.
They made a .nodes to .json converter and it’s wack af… and it is even on a discord bot he made. Dude’s cracked.

if it’s on steam, you could wait till sale happens and just take which offer works out better for you. Maybe even both games, as terraria’s sales are quite big.
