An Announcement
Alright, so, you might be wondering what’s up with the whole almost-radio-silence and significantly decreased interactivity of this group, and I’m here with answers.
TLDR: We don’t post here a lot because we don’t like the way things are going for the site. No, this does not mean we’re going to stop working on this, we are doing a lot of stuff in the background. I don’t know if or when I’ll post any new lore.
Why is this group so inactive nowadays?
Simply put, we feel less like visiting the site and doing anything for the group specifically, be it promotional art, posting lore and other stuff like that. I believe that generally the site is not a very fun place nowadays and while quality content does come out, it’s usually way less than the mass amounts of low effort shitposting (which I did a lot of back in the day tbf), random arguments, low quality figs and/or art, random thoughts someone decided to post etc. Honestly, the site’s never been great anyways, but I feel like it just gets worse and worse, especially with the increasing inactivity of people. So I feel less compelled to visit the site or post anything on it, that’s basically why. Also, I have a lot of other stuff I’m working on aside from WFTW, and while that doesn’t make me work less on it, it does make me care less about stuff like posting on the site because I don’t want to deal with organizing a post about the lore or bother making promotional material yet, if that makes sense.
How's the series going?
Pretty good, actually! It slows down and speeds up here and there but we’re working on it most of the time. A lot of stuff is being done in the background and there’s really nothing out of the usual. Reduced activity here doesn’t reflect a lot of what’s happening on the background, even if it might make you think we’re working less on it.
What happened to the lore post? Is it coming out anytime soon
I don’t know, honestly. If I feel like it, sure. Wouldn’t count on it, though. I have to juggle between a lot of different stuff i’m working on and real life things like school. I will probably post something that’s about background info/worldbuilding sometime in the future, but it might not be as long or detailed as the planned lore posts.
