Edit:you might want to copy and paste into a google doc, it might make it easier to read.
You said anything, so I’m just spitballin’ here: *Title screen, fade to white, loud alarm starts beeping(alarm clock) actual game fades in* You’re lying in bed and the beeping stops. You say something like, “Oh boy, I’m late for work!” (It probably apears in side scrolling bottom text) Game tutorial starts, teaching you the controls, have them walk out of bedroom. (Insert tutorial stuff here) you get to work, late, of course. Sit down in office chair, then a voice over the overhead speakers, “~name~ please come down to ~boss name~ room, he would like to see you. You go down there, a conversation something like this happens—“this is the third time you’ve been late this week”—“sorry sir, I just can’t sleep”—“why?…”slow grin comes over boss’s face “…bad dreams?”—“well, it’s just that I keep seeing this demon every night, and this night he locked me in a cage, and said he wouldn’t let me out unless I gave him my soul!”—“And? Did you?”—“well I thought why not? It’s not real, only a dream.”—more conversation, epic reveal that the man in the dreams is his boss, and he just stole his soul. The demon reveals that he’s invincible and can only be beat in the dream world, and even your not strong enough for that. The next night you have the same dream, only the man isn’t there. You escape your cage and realize that all the dream worlds are linked somehow—real levels start, first looking through other people’s dreams, then as the game progresses, the nightmares…
Idk if you even like this idea so I’ll continue if you do.

Nice idea tell the story you want I’ll check the final results when I dominate this program sht
Lel i don’t know why at the beggining it reminded me of that episode when Spongebob can’t sleep.
I like the getting out of bed idea
The bedroom should just be filled with mangas, a computer, and a bed with a bunch of white mysteries.
And a computer, with pixelated clips of baka no imouto.
