I can’t stand what you are saying now. Tween is not for just noobs. You simply need to know how it works to use it. Tween also does not effect speed of animation. The general fps does. Tween simply adds frames in between key frames and speeds the FPS up to the speed to sync the speed with if there where no tween. So you’re wrong. Easing is also affected by the posing within keyframes. And to say me, Epitaph and Jackfly had horrible animations is arrogant, opinionated and loaded with 🅱️ullshít. Epitaphs contains fluidity, smoothness, easing and a perfect pace that is satisfying to the human eye. Mine contains easing, fluidity, pace and acceleration. Well…. You know. All of our animations were solid. Everyone loves them and you take a śhit on them just because you want to stay to your opinion without support. Those non tween tests would look 10× better with a 60fps. You put tweening on those and the look just smoother. Which is easy on the eye. I agree that you don’t need backgrounds or highly detailed figures for a test animation. But like Dezway said, theres thing like weight and strength in my animation that makes it good. And I will never drop back from going for realistic over some anime weeb smothered animation style. Tween doesn’t judge how good your animation is. Posing is as well as how much many frames per second or going. 20fps tweens looks 500% better than a 1fps or 5fps animation. But on to your personality, you are extremely hostile to critisism. Feel free to disagree with critisism, but have some support to do so. I made this video to shut down this “non tween is for pros” bogus. Trust me. I wouldn’t have 5.2k subscribers and a strong support on this website if I acted like you did to the critisism and also if I did not tween. Non tween should be used by beginners for the sake that it makes bad posing invisible through a lower fps. Those key frames won’t clip through objects while the tweened frames will, when you have to make sure the tweened frames are correctly placed in between 2 keyframes, you are putting in much more work. You also are saying tween is for lazy people when people like hyper and Mr. Brightside (Some Blender animators) as well as every game developer and animated movie use tween. They make animations that would be watched any day over a non tween animation because they mimic real life movements. When you can relate and be immersed in an animation, its much better. You cannot be immersed by a 10 or 20fps animation. Especially when the human eye sees more than 60fps. We can see 30fps and be immersed because we can see those in between movements. Now. Watch this.

Jesus Christ I hate people like you.
Replying to:AvajiHuh. Welp, I guess Disney is really good at tweening, and ha
You’re pathetic. Disney even uses tween. Also disneys animation style is cartoonish. It’s good but cartoonish. I’m going for realism. I’m also doing 2D. Not 3D, it’s a different style than disney movies. Disney movies are also worked on for years by many people.
You also have to have support in your argument in order to prove you’re right. If you can’t defend your side, you may as well change sides. Accept defeat.
Replying to:Explosive BulletI can't stand what you are saying now. Tween is not for jus
So you are saying…tween is the only thing capable of mimicing real life movements? I use no-tween and I have these animations that others have stated it to be realistic. Also, 3D isn’t the same as 2D. Simply too much work as compared to us littletons. And if you have seen my animations, you can compare it to yours and see that yours lacks in the animation-prowess that I have. People like you and Epitaph believe you are so highly with your stickfigure detail capabilities while others like me delve in animation-skill. I do not care for the fact you have 5k, 10x more than my count. You have the face the facts that even I, a no-tween user, created 60fps animations that have NO-TWEEN. I can create even more to put down the facts straight into your face if you’d like. All in a non-hostile way.
Replying to:TB34So you are saying...tween is the only thing capable of mimic
No. You missed my point. Non tween makes your animations less immersive. It doesn’t make them better, it simply creates a different style. It’s between whether you want a realistic video or a flashy anime battle. The human eye sees at more than 60fps. Non tween animators always animate at 10 to 30fps. 30fps is as close as they will get to fully immersing people. But in terms of time, they are wasting time. You could do those same movements in tween as they were did in none tween in much less time. By the time you start hitting 25fps non tween, you start having to do repetitive movements for everything. I used to animate at 30fps tween, the minute I dropped down to 20fps and 15fps tween I was getting movements done better and more efficiently. Yes. You can create 60fps non tween animations but waste hundreds of minutes making movements that could be done in just a few minutes with tween. 60fps and 30fps are realistic, non tween or not in terms of smoothness. Realistic movements are judged by posing within key frames or just frames if we’re talking no tween. Realistic movements cannot be captured by the common non tween animation speeds of 10-25fps. As they fail to get those inbetween frames that prevent the eye from tracking movements. Yes 2D is different from 3D but it’s still the same concept in posing with key frames. Just in a 3 dimensional perspective instead of a one sided perspective. If 3D is simply too much work than why am I able to create 3D animations now? I recently created a test animation on blender. I tweened it, animated like I would in stick nodes. Only except for the fact that I rushed the movements and spent less time refining movements.
I also gotta laugh at how damned arrogant you are. Comparing my animations to yours is funny. I constantly go through style changes, I went from base figures to full anatomically correct humans. I’m relatively new to a style that I introduced into stick nodes. Even though I have been teaching myself how to animate since 2013. Both me and Epitaph have gone up in both detail and animation. I haven’t even seen any of your animations yet, but something tells me they’re nothing but tests. Pure laziness. I might be wrong, but I do feel like that’s what I’m gonna find off of you. Me and @epitaph200 are in fact the best in stickfigure creation, we have both combined our stickfigure creation capabilities with our animation capabilities. Not only that, we are combining those with the ability to tell a story and not just make an animation of base figures teleporting around and beating the ever loving hell out of each other. Your animation skill doesn’t show unless you try out new things like higher detailed figures. And once again. Yes you can create 60fps with no tween, but waste hours in doing so when you can have more refined movenents in a lower FPS with tween and a much better efficiency. Truth is. You don’t have single frame movements in 60 framesthat will define your animations. The human eye is not gonna focus on that single frame. It might focus on every 2 frames but then that pulls you down to 30fps tween as a logical alternative to 60fps non tween.

Without animation, your ideas, your detail, your story is only used for those willing to read, not watch. Animation is meant to be watched and enjoyed while what you state is purely for those who read.

Tween is an option because it makes animation easier, not lazy. If it made you lazy, it would animate everything for you, that’s why the ‘Do not tween frame’ and ‘do not tween StickFigure’ buttons exist. I understand that Non-Tween has some parts better than Tween but if you faced the f**king facts you’d realise that using Tween paired with those buttons makes you better than Non-Tween, this is FACT.
Tween helps you with the mundane sections or more liear animation wile slapping on do-not-tween helps with the more complex and advanced.
——
Why would you not use a blank void? Cause it’s lazy, boring and uneventful. With a decent backgroud, you can help set a scene, give even a 5 second GIF a backstory just by looking at it. Props will also help the background be more interesting and unique, truly setting the stage.
Detailed figures will then allow your character to look WAAAAAY better than a lazy and bland base fig. Besides, if you don’t practice with detailed figs, you’ll never animate well with them at all.
If it’s a test, ACTUALLY F**KING TEST YOURSELF.
As for your run, I don’t give a s**t cause you’re lacking on the most simple parts.

Huh. Welp, I guess Disney is really good at tweening, and has a nice grasp of it, you guys should practice more at it because yours still looks like you guys started animating 2 months ago, :omar_dab:
You can’t be serious.
I can :omar_dab:
lol disney is a professional giagantic company
Not only that but it’s 3D animation nowadays, which is completely different.
I mean, you’re comparing
a company with hundreds of people to 1 guy in his spare time
cool :omar_dab:
Okay :omar_dab:
While I personally do not use tween, I can agree that you are the most God damn arrogant animator I have EVER met, instead of listening to criticism you ignore everything and continually blurt out “TwEeNiNg Is FoR nOoBs EcKs DeE”
Are you actually blind to good animators using tweening or are you just an idiot?
Jesus Christ I hate people like you.
*cheering from behind*
Now I’d just like to point out details are not everything. They help but they aren’t everything
Already know that. Epitaph knows that. He just thinks it should be there in tests. I don’t. But I do agree with adding more detail into full videos. As well as his thought on tween.
oh god
@epitaph200
@explosivebullet
we got some fine critisism here
*lip smack* Well damn

DEAR GOD ARE YOU RETARDED
Animation is bigger than that. I don’t give a f**king s**t how well animated something is if it isn’t interesting, has a good, unique idea and has good design attention.
Go back to Pivot you Scarf User scum
Agreed
Animation is MEANT to be of the quality. Without it, you have a comic. That isn’t animation. That is art. You have to understand that your perspective is crooked and broken. Fix it. Without animation, your ideas, your detail, your story is only used for those willing to read, not watch. Animation is meant to be watched and enjoyed while what you state is purely for those who read.
Major oof and misunderstanding here. Avaji asked for cnc on the run, not animation in general…or whatever art you are talking about…detailed sigs and background can come later if you want to improve animation-skill.

Listen the f**k here okay cause I don’t take hostility with open arms alright so listen real f**king close so you don’t become an awful animator nobody cares about.

Done
Gr8
We all sometimes use non tween
But I think just like coolbreaker he use non teewn in fact I use non teewn because 1. tween makes my animation delay
2. I use 18 ffp for my test and 25 ffp for non test is just fair to me
3. I did use tween but there bad like I will sometimes miss some parts and if I move the came it moves nothing else
LOL XD
you snapped, I guess.
I actually kinda legit defended this community, but now no. This is hilarious!
If you care about this stuff so much go and go and direct a movie or something. Bet those animators could use your HELPFUL tips!

Guess what asshole, i f**king did and it shaped this website to how it is now.
The StickNodes Movie, extremely well known series, on my channel, 1,500 subs.
I never call myself an animator, i call myself a Director in fact because limiting yourself to just an animator makes you lazy and less than you could be.
But animators work on movies
But animators do the camera work on animated movies
But animators design the characters on animated movies
MOVIES CAN BE ANIMATED YA KNOW
I know…
ALSO WAY TO LUMP IN EVERYONE
like three users were hostile and you condemn the whole place.

It’s an okay start, but you may want to consider making the arms more interesting
Oof. And we can call time of death on the whole “ignore the drama” stuff.
And since I’m on my phone unlike the other 99% of the time on my PC, here are some emojis
🤖💩🐝🌽🎁🎷
I FORGOT YOU EXISTED RALPH
Actually Ralph I was laughing here most of the time with Ghosty trying to come up with things to say so I could trigger these peeps, and it worked I guess.
Simpliest parts as in detail right? You left it on a cliffhanger that’s why I ask hehe. Honestly love the crack in your anger in this.

“If it is a test, actually test yourself.” Uh…Avaji just did that lol.

Look here buddy, I completely agree that if you don’t practice animating a detailed sig, you won’t be able to animate well with it at all. But…you yourself lack some animation skill…do…do…you practice animating in general? If you say yes, I’m assuming that you animate only with detailed sigs…What I meant by the question is: Do you know how to animate angles, perspective, 3D-like, smoothness without tween, combat, weight distribution, physics, etc.? If you have atleast 2 of these things, I would be geniunely surprised.
makes a quick run cycle of basic stick figure and asks for cnc
Gets a mentally challenged person saying stick needs to be more detailed
Makes sarcastic reply
Respect++++++++++++++++
stares at your comment for a second
groans at the fact you have such an ego that you call those that criticise you mentally challenged.
Actually Omar made that for me.
You can’t support your own argument with facts so you have some other dude do it for you. Pathetic.
Actually I never asked him to do that for me, but he made it adn I thought it was funny so I decided to post it here. Tbh aren’t you guys soon realizing that none of us non-tweeners take you guys seriously, me, ghosty and *maybe* tb34 has been laughing at you guys.
So you are creating fun out of drama? I myself as well as 10 other people in this argument are laughing at your reaction and how people like you think tween is the worst thing ever. And how you think you’re someone to call me an Epitaphs animations garbage. TB34 was interesting in getting both sides of the story while giving his own. You are basically on your own now.
Looks fine to me
Great
The most I can say is to add a bit of darkness to the back leg and arm so we can tell he’s swinging both his arms
Otherwise, great animation
Thanks, but that’s unnecessary for such a small test. While that looks cool I wouldn’t do it for bigger projects either, since that would’ve been more work for me on angles etc…

Test: testing your abilities
Not
Test: just have a basic fig run and not be bothered
I was testing if I could still use sticknodes after 5 months smh
We sometimes don’t use tween for me I use 18 ffp and 25 ffp to make my animation smoother
for small tests, I stick to 12, for serious stuff I do 24. 😀
The run is on point, well done. Use a floor though, even for tests. It provides perspective. Good work bobbing the head slightly. Subtlety like that is key.
raplh useing propper gammar
he gotta make a nice mark on the newcomers so I’ll join team Ralph
i still prefer Sean, hAhA
oh
you prefer dead australian lazy working kangaroos?
I don’t really care about the floor, but thanks!
ps. don’t mind this **smol** debate
