And uh. You’re missing the Rembrandt lighting and the side lighting. That’s what makes it look realistic.

That is precisely why I don’t want to teach anyone how I do it.

Yeah I agree with biscuit. I mean. He posted it multiple times already and saying “don’t ask for lessons” is implying that everyone wants to know how he did it and he is better then almost everyone. Like say “I’m proud of my Stickfigure”, don’t post the same thing multiple times and say “don’t ask for lessons”. Like come on. I’m glad you like your Stickfigure, but that’s just rude and putting others down to lift your self up. Stop being so condescending.

i sense a post edit
the 3d glasses effect wasn’t in the project -
Not to mention that you posted this before and said “don’t ask how”, being condensing again. And a lot of people said it’s simple in the comments, showing that you aren’t the only one who knows how to do this. And yet you STILL come back and say “I’m not telling you my secrets”. Like you are way better at me at Stickfigure making, but this is jsut blading gsince you did similar things with the same figure before.
-
Unfortunately for you beasty, I already see all of your secrets just by grazing my eyes over your art.

Its still pretty though

shut up. You did something similar to this before. So, unless you like repeating the same jokes, you and I both know this is a lie. And stop reposting this figure like you did like 3 – 4 times already. Like you are just posting the same figure for likes. Which would be fine if you didn’t keep doing it over and over and over with no text besides bragging about it.

Also, if you really meant that you would’ve said it with more sincerity instead of laughing and blaming us for not taking it as a joke. If everyone thought it wasn’t a joke, it’s on you. Also, it wasn’t a joke to begin with. That was a poorly executed lie you came up with.

IM NOT DONE YET. Also, people before when you were bragging about it said “its quite simple actually”, and yet you still said the “joke” again. This either shows you are ignorant to comments which we know you are not since you responded here, or it wasn’t a joke. After all, if people said it was simple, they wouldn,’t be thinking that you weren’t being serious. If it really was a joke , you would say “it was a joke”, or not post it again after realising people didn’t understand it. And you never replied to them yet you replied to here. Showing that you only cared about calling it a joke when it saved your butt. Sorry for the grammatical errors. I’m typing on my laptop instead of my ipad. I’ve been typing on ipad for years but on a laptop for months.

Movieclip of the whole face and body copypasted multiple times to the left and right side, lowered opacity and blur, with the right being tinted black and the right being tinted white to get a light source and shadow
Then just simple shading with polyfills and blur, with white polyfills for rim lighting and dark polyfills for shadows, especially on the face
Black background was used so the movieclip copypasting technique isnt as obvious and it can clearly be seen if you look at the “tails” of the headband, which has a black silhouette on it that doesnt look like it should be there
The second image is a post-production image made with SN as it has chromatic aberration and a png watermark. Most likely made with PicsArt or another similar app.
Lighting techniques like this are incredibly basic and easy if you have decent eyesight, and can probably be done in 30 minutes tops.

and to prove that it’s that easy
here’s me recreating the effect in approximately 30 minutes with the steps i listed:

Well this guy said it better than I ever will
( worlds-longest-exhalation.mp3 )But, I don’t think the shading was done with polyfills, just some simple ellipses with gradients

Replying to:
Can’t really do Rembrandt due to the lack of an actual face, but I can admit that the side lighting is something i forgot that can probably just be done with just an outline to the right
Lessons for this are unnecessary, so no need to brag about it and make yourself feel like hot shit.
