Yes it does cause explosions, but it would kind of burn and disintegrate any object from tons of light years away already because its trillions of degrees hot and light years wide. Anyone in the way of it would likely start burning alive when they see nothing more than a speck of faint red light in the night sky getting bigger.
how about we reduce it by a couple trillions so that queso doesnt end in 30 seconds
