I like Nicky’s work a lot but a refresh in style of base would go a long way.
No offence to Nicky but most of these stickfigures have lost novelty to me now, not that that is meant to mean anything to him, I’m just putting it out there as criticism.
Maybe he has updated the base but from my POV it looks kind of recycled.

Exactly what I’ve said as well. He clearly can do good work it’s just the figures themselves haven’t had major improvements for a while now. I think a new base would be best to “refresh” as you said the style. Some things like the arm muscles or the face feel outdated compared new techniques created in the last few years. At the time they were extremely good, now currently they are more leaning towards average. However, lots of people use it for learning Stick Nodes so in that regard Nicky made an amazing base.
I do agree with that a lot and its not to offend the winner or anything but i atleast think it deserved more recognition than a silly man and a shotgun
