@ralph Hello Ralph, how are you, I’m writing this request to ask you something. If you receive a project or pack or a stick that looks like this, please do not put it in the site. My friend “Arthur” is stolen his character, by “Drake animation” who wants to publish it and give it to all. Please accept my request it is to help Arthur
-
@ralph you can add sound files \”wav\” to stick nodes?
-
Most likely not. 256kb limit. WAVs are one of the heaviest types of audio files. I don’t believe it would ever come for mobile devices.
-
I know it sucks since everything seems to be wav, but that’s because WAVs are uncompressed
so a “gunshot” sound would be like 4kb MP3 and 200kb WAV and they sound the same
and since memory consumption is a big issue with SN, I gotta keep it low
maybe I’ll add some type of a WAV-to-MP3 converter in the app, it might not actually be *too* hard so I’ll look into it

So theres no difference in sound quality? I can just slap in a super high quality sound and it wont care as long as it doesn’t jump over the 256kb limit?
-
Replying to:
Basically, as long as it’s not compressed SO much. I’m sure you’ve heard music/sounds that sound like they were recorded in 1912. That’s overly compressed. I use Audacity on a PC to re-save (and edit) sounds.

Man can you give me your current OC for the revenge of the DBZ anim i made?

I think 500 max. That, or lock 500+ to devices that are fairly modern or high power like the IPad Air 2 or IPad Gen 6
-
Replying to:
people done been suggesting this, also having it be editable like skins
which of course is doable but then introduces the issue of not everyone playing on the same level, you for example would always be making 400+ node figures looking awesome and some lowly iphone 4 user will be sad.jpg and not be able to import it

plus I’m actually a fan of limits within reason, limits and simplicity harbors creativity
-

If i have a low end device, i can’t use 200+ frames, there’s exclusion whether you like it or not, 6 years if the IPad Mini teaches you this.
