  • You guy remember that old first episode of Project Landfall, right? Yeah, for a while now it’s kinda bothered me with how lacking it is overall. Like 30 minutes is kinda a whatever thing and all especially when you look at all the problems in the first episode. The text walls, pointless dialogue, character personalities aren’t developed very clearly, ect. This is why I’m gonna announce a remake of the first episode. One of the most important things to have in a series is a good first impression. While the visuals and length are stunning and the story and depth to loads of the characters is amazing leaving you with a lot of information, the animation clouds that good polished first look at the series. And thanks to your guys critisism at the time and the review given by @toxic911 outlining the problems and strengths, I think it’s safe to say I know what I am doing now with a first episode for Project Landfall. Episode 2 suffers from a few of the same problems as one but it is much better and there is going to be flaws with these episodes. But episode 1 is very important and was actually quite rushed. Especially when I rushed it out when Geminis design was a stickfigure, in which he was made before the base was set in stone. Project Landfall was not originally gonna be as complex as it was now, but I wanted to push the limits. Problem is I did it too quickly. So here’s what is going to happen. I’m gonna line out the quality for each scene (resolution, background details, framerate) and story related stuff (Script, actions, events) and I will animate them on occasions. But currently as my focus is on Episode 3, I will focus on getting it done before I work on this. But heres the really spicy part. I’m gonna work with you guys on the animation. There will only be select people though since I don’t want rough animation that is formed purely through added tweened frames like I did. The newer figures will be used and battles scenes will be better. Pacing will be enhanced with no pauses in between battles. All dialogue will dynamic as it is in Episode 3. So if you are skilled and are prepared to take on this challenge, you’re gonna want to prove it first. And for clarity, just because you use non tween doesn’t mean your animation will look better, in fact it might just end up looking worse and absolutely horrible. So you are gonna have to show me that you can:
    -Animate using the PL base.
    -Animate using tween.
-Be able to animate guns accurately.
    -Animate Tweened Effects.
-Animate fights realistically and so on.
This isn’t priority though considering the amount of time it will take and the fact that this is something that won’t be easy considering I’m gonna be strict with the final product. I will likely make a video bringing the details out in a more clear fashion on what needs to be done. But currently I need to get a load done on Episode 3. It’s taking a lot of time.

  • I just watched through it and it doesn’t have anything going for it aside from animation. Story is elements level garbage, visuals are generic but average overall and theres a bunch more wrong with it. It’s just average to me.

  • So I skipped Jokers stuff a little bit because it’s unfair to rate his videos that have been privated by someone who hacked his channel. But he got it back so we can vote on 2 of his animations. One that I skipped, and another that is right on where we originally were.
First up is Joker Story|Part 3|”The True Culprit” by Joker Execution. Now, this one I gotta watch with the context of previous parts. But from what I remember, Joker fails miserably in story and some pacing, but his animation is unique. It’s pretty good. Go ahead though. Check it out and rate on it. I have yet to throw my rating at it since I wasn’t gonna unfairly vote 1/5 because his video was on private due to a hacker.

Next Up is another part of this “Story” Which is Joker Story|Part 3|”The King of Devil” by Joker Execution. Once again it’s another case of whether his previous episodes compliment his new installments. Got to vote on this one too. I will find out real quick if this is a good series or not. Expectations are high for animation though.

People are gonna see Kaido first glance if they can even dedicate themselves to memorizing the hundred scarf characters that exist.

  • Replying to comment by: Kuro anims@explosivebullet I already did, but in case my OC shows up,

Scarf, bandana, gradient forearms. All of which I\’ve seen used in a desperate attempt to make something unique. All combined in one too. So this design too is something I have seen alot. Also, it design, there is something called harmony. Things must fit together like color. This is where the rainbow thing going on here doesn\’t work and likely won\’t work. Think about adding believable details as well maybe. Take someone like Toxic for an example. He went with a theme of classyness. He designed his character based on that theme and added typical rich person items like a monacle and tophat. Something simple, but creates that iconic aspect where you enjoy seeing that character alone based on their design, like the Master Chief from Halo.
