Yes, but I ain’t making one for PL, so the likelyhood of me posting another server for something website based like this, is 0.

So, description basically says it all. We bring old spotlights back into the spotlight so they can recieve their rating and we promote that people vote on new animations reasonably. Kinda something I threw together and might forget about, but it\’s worth a shot to get those old animations up there.

Your welcome. It ain\’t too often anymore that I post guns since I\’m busy, but I plan to get more down.

Experimenting with the barrel a bit and trying to implement smart stretch to show some automatic functioning of the spring. Smart stretch isn’t exactly working like I want it to here, but give it time. It might have to do with how I have a long length of the node used to “rig” the barrel function and the length the of that movement node translates the smart stretch on the spring to not move all that drastically. That also might have to do with the angle of which the spring segments are. But I will experiment with it a little more. You guys probably don’t know what I am talking about.

You don’t realize the strings you pull on my heart when you tease or upload a weapon figure.
In-in a good way, you pull them in a good way.

Yeah, and it\’s really a shame when you get high quality headphones and listen to the difference. Because it goes from subtle, to not so subtle. But thanks.

Yeah. I think I will make a video showing that. Because I will play a sound that I made, then I will put it into an animation and export it. Visuals are great, but sound ends up muffled. I show it here in this video. The difference can be heard, you might get used to it, but having a *dynamic range* for audio is quite important. A small fix that makes a difference though.

I\’ve worked on my skills with dealing with audio a little bit and now I got a new plan. Sound work is gonna be a new thing I\’m doing. Recently I just took a video of a guy shooting an AK-47, grabbed the clear audio. Trimmed it down to a single shot sound and added a fade effect to cancel out echos and background noise. This results in a bit more of a realistic sound and I think it\’s what I will do for any future weapon sounds. Unfortunatly the high quality audio gets compressed when put into SN. Maybe….. Maybe that could change. @ralph
How hard would it maybe be to allow a higher quality sound to be rendered with a video in SN? Maybe a sound quality option in export?-
gotta admit i’ve never experienced SN making sounds *noticeably* lower quality
maybe something subtle but nothing like “wow wtf” type of stuff
this is in an export? Not just in the app itself bc that’s a little different maybe
audio export quality is something I can look into, regardless, tho I’d just make it default to “best” because honestly the audio isn’t the bottleneck of export speed/size, that’s visuals

okay yeah I do hear it
it’s definitely subtle ngl i don’t think many people would care but i understand your desire for perfection given that you’re like, you
I have it on my list to check out
