Mentioning me so I can see something this is actually pretty good. Personally not a fan of using gradients in such a way that they decide the lighting, but this looks good.

Flag background stands out as more unique and interesting overall, the plain gradient background is far better for display.

Recoil should be a quick bump up then a slower return to the original stance. Entire body should move slightly with the recoil but mostly the arms. Bullet casings should also be ejected which can be done easily through moveclips. Stance should also be stronger with the legs bent and spread out more. I would also glow and blur the muzzle flash a bit. Makes it look more realistic.

Now that’s cool to have a flamethrower. I’d do it without the odd symbolism sort of thing.
