Using lore created 10 years ago when you were much younger likely is gonna result in flaws within lore. I’ve been thinking about my current lore for about 2 years now. And I highly doubt that it’s solid development. You probably worked on it every now and then for 10 years, that would be more realistic. I’ve been constantly thinking about project landfall for 2 years.

That’s why over those 10 years you develop and recycle lore like i did and still do. So I’ve been doing what you do but on a bigger scale and for a longer time.
That’s 3 galaxies, 32 planets, 20+ species, everything with its own unique backstory, lore, science, ecosystem, culture, allies, enemies, history, etc.
And it’s constantly expanding.

The adoptive little brother died to save him in a tournament

Then two meteors come from space
One has a destroying being
Another one was a nice but young being

Ehhhh, it’s salvageable.
The boy lived with his father and adopted brother. The two were keen hunters who’d go to their nearby forest to hunt game like rabbits, pheasants and pidgeons with their hand crafted bows. One fateful day, the adopted brother was unfortunately struck by a falling meteor, killing him. From the crater of the meteor stood a being whose sole intent was to consume a planets life force before leaving it behind in ruin. The boy was attacked by the being but was miraculously not killed but knocked off concious.
Upon awakening, he awoke to a similar being but with a less intimidating look. The being told the boy that he’d been attacked by ‘insert name here’ and that by surviving, he’d attained a fraction of it’s power. It told him that everything within 20 miles of them was already drained and dead, including his father.
With a burning rage and lust for revenge while also tasked with stopping this apocalypse, the boy sets out with the being to stop ‘Insert villain name here’ and prevent the apocalypse

Both are undecided.
ToB will come first after the Complete Edition, then Aftermath, then CD, one after the other. This means I’ll possibly upload more commonly as i will be able to animate at least one of them if I’m not in the modd for another.
If you continuously have to recycle and redo lore, how much are you really doing. What you did in 10 years might have all been replaced in 1 year. With much better lore. So logically, does 10 years of developing lore really add up to anything when it’s all being replaced by better lore.
