I’m continuing the yearly tradition of remaking Flame.
I only started this version of V6 yesterday so it’s nothing too impressive yet. Plan is to finish the head, then move to the body and so forth. I’m hoping that I can make this figure in a relatively fast manner so that my following figures can keep to this level of detail unlike V5. (V6 on the left, V5 on the right).
So far the style is evolving to look more drawn with the outlines being very thin, and have the shading look like cell shading (at least to a degree).
Here’s what’s been done so far. If you have any critiques or ideas let me know. I’m hopeful I can have it so that this version is the one to use for the Corrupted series, in addition to any games I have planned.
(So far I plan to extend the bottom part of the chin forward. In addition to finishing the jawline. Also for reference, so far the figure is 104 nodes).

random and unimportant but i think angling the collar down a bit rather than being perfectly straight would look more natural
maybe
I’ll try doing that on the new figure. I do think that you’re right though, the downward angle should help making it look more natural.
I’ll post both variants once it’s made.
